03/09/2025: Great coffee and the sandwiches are delicious too
29/08/2025: Here is another popular café, very well known by the people of Cork for its food that will make you take your hat off even when drinking a simple espresso. Café Gusto opened here and here it was better to have a small, crowded room than a large, empty one. Here people come and go all day long. It closes around 6:00 p.m. Cafés of this quality deserve the best. We are very grateful for the wonderful service and charming friendliness. Thank you very much.

Thompsons Bar & Restaurant

27/10/2025: We had a lovely meal here the Saturday evening of the Jazz weekend. The food was lovely as was the wine! Just a bit loud to be able to hear each other speak, felt like 6pm was 2am in a bar but that's acoustics, nothing to do with the food and service! Will be back
27/10/2025: Didn't get exactly what we ordered. Ordered a rare steak, arrived medium to well done. Ordered mussels as a main portion, arrived as a started portion. Waiter was highly apologetic and did his best to rectify with complimentary glass of wine, but kitchens were obviously overwhelmed.
