Cafe du Journal in Dublin

Well, we went there as a last resort because we planned to go somewhere else for a coffee, and my god we were surprised. The place is really great, coffee is fantastic (I had mocha) and their chocolate cheese cake is out of this world. I will be back there again.

It’s really great. Coffee and food are good. Outdoor seating is great to have on a sunny day. Staff are very helpful. Also note that you can get swimming accessories here, for example beach mats and towels and robes, these are very useful and good quality.

A lovely place in Monkstown to meet friends for casual dining.

I am still undecided about what I shall think. The breakfast looks good. Did not get served yet. On a sunny day the staff is busy. Update. The table got cleaned. And I ordered. Orange juice arrived and tastes Update2. The food is good. If you arrive at inconvenient time you may have to wait a few minutes for getting attention and the menu. After ordering, getting coffee may take another few minutes. Despite waiting time, I would come here again.

Atmospheric place with delicious food. Both inside and outside places are comfy.

Low key vibe with great service. Food was solid apart from the nuts in the banana bread (why do so many places ruin cakes and desserts by putting nuts in them?) and yogurt portion size. Full breakfast vg. Toilet was a bit smelly.

Food was delicious, great pizza, superb Chianti. The staff were professional but really warm and friendly. It’s rare to get service this good but here they’re in the top two restaurants in Glasthule for great staff and service which coincidentally bookend the main Street in Glasthule.
