Cafe du Journal in Dublin

Low key vibe with great service. Food was solid apart from the nuts in the banana bread (why do so many places ruin cakes and desserts by putting nuts in them?) and yogurt portion size. Full breakfast vg. Toilet was a bit smelly.

Great place with fantastic service and a really friendly team. They pay attention to every detail and are even pet-friendly. The owner kindly lent us a pair of hats to protect us from the sun, and the waitresses were all so kind and lovely. Highly recommend.

Bland good. Had the breakfast bap, the bacon fan was not rendered, chewy. The bread too hard but the worst was the coffee: burned, bitter and short. Service not great, waited 20 min to get some more hot water in my coffee and we never got the tap water at the table even after asking multiple times. Atmosphere and location nice, makes up for the poor food.

Lovely place with outdoor seating and a cute vibe. The indoors are lovely ,too with baby changing facilities and even a toddler toilet seat. Unfortunately the food let us down. The terminator omelette had no salt, herbs or taste to it but was cooked well. The orange juice is very small for the 4 euro it costs. The breakfast bap had rashers that weren't sufficiently rendered.

Food was delicious, great pizza, superb Chianti. The staff were professional but really warm and friendly. It’s rare to get service this good but here they’re in the top two restaurants in Glasthule for great staff and service which coincidentally bookend the main Street in Glasthule.

One of the best places in Dublin. The staffs were great and the food was amazing. It is a very good place to relax and enjoy the company. Thanks a million for the best breakfast birthday I could get from you all.

Really lovely cafe with good prices and quiet relaxed atmosphere. Food is always excellent.

Amazing selection of delicious pastries and cakes. The Dubai cake is especially outstanding! Highly recommended
