Cafe du Journal in Dublin

A lovely place for brunch with good coffee and wide selection for breakfast/brunch cravings. From Irish breakfast to eggs benedict to omelettes, etc. Outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day! Toilets are clean and the shop sells swimming accessories as well. This is a good starting point when you explore Monkstown area. Just a few minutes away from the beach.

Lunchtime, but quiet. Excellent Eggs beni on muffin and a very nice and welcome mocha on a cold day. Nice old style decor (loads of books) and background music was good. Staff very pleasant, if not the most attentive (non intrusive would be a good description:-). Overall, a pleasant brunch.

One of our favourite places for brunch after a swim at nearby Seapoint. Service is efficient and the large outdoor seating area very popular with a bit of sun.
