Best lunch spot in Cork city centre!

Great place to stop for a simple, light and inexpensive lunch. Tasty sandwiches, very good coffee, nice atmosphere and excellent value. Highly recommend.

Decent sandwiches for lunch. The menu is artistically scribbled on a blackboard. You place your order at the counter and then take a seat. The place is spacious and is rather filled up during lunch time. A well maintained place with no strange smells, considering the crowd. There is a water filter and glasses set aside that you get on your own. I tried their Roast mediterranean sandwich with aubergine and pickled cabbage. I found the combination rather unique. I generally enjoy the texture of cheese in my sandwiches, though the absence of it here allowed me to appreciate individual flavors more.

The only decent coffee shop open at 8am Saturday that you can avoid using paper cups.

This is really a hidden gem in Cork city. Lived their sandwichs. They do offer gluten free options as well. Coffee is also very good.

If you would like a real good breakfast you should not miss this place. The food was great and we enjoyed every bite. Don't miss it!
