Cafe Gusto in Cork

Friendly staff, comfort food, big portions, reasonable price. The poached egg and scrambled egg both a bit overcooked to me, but still taste fine. It's delicious, not expensive, and the portions are big.

The interior decoration and overall atmosphere of the place is very welcoming, cozy and calm. Definitely a good place to recollect yourself from the craze of the city. I went here with my cousin and she enjoyed her pasta salad. However, I got a chai latte which I cannot discourage purchase of enough. It was a small cup of milk with a bit of cinnamon. And I mean a BIT, you could really barely taste anything but milk. It was a comforting drink, sure, but if you're gonna charge 3.50 for a product then make it the real thing. TLDR; nice vibes in the place but DON'T get the chai latte.

They have a pleasant lunch eith upbeat vibe. Great if you're waljing through the city centre. Coffee as very good.

Great place to stop for a simple, light and inexpensive lunch. Tasty sandwiches, very good coffee, nice atmosphere and excellent value. Highly recommend.

Decent sandwiches for lunch. The menu is artistically scribbled on a blackboard. You place your order at the counter and then take a seat. The place is spacious and is rather filled up during lunch time. A well maintained place with no strange smells, considering the crowd. There is a water filter and glasses set aside that you get on your own. I tried their Roast mediterranean sandwich with aubergine and pickled cabbage. I found the combination rather unique. I generally enjoy the texture of cheese in my sandwiches, though the absence of it here allowed me to appreciate individual flavors more.
