Cafe Lucia Ardkeen in Waterford

I've eaten twice there recently. Its shopping centre location disguises the fab eating place it is even though its spotless and has plenty of seating. The service is friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I had a breakfast thevfurst time, poached eggs on sourdough toast with smashed avocado basil pesto etc and a cup of tea, class breakfast, yum, the poached eggs were perfect, yummy. I had lunch the second time and equally tasty and with quality ingredients. I'd describe this place as a hidden gem, well worth a visit, my mouth waters thinking of my next visit.

Very good. But very expensive. Just under 10 euros. For a ham and cheese tostie on its own.

I had a lovely breakfast a fresh fruit compote on a pancakes with cream and caramel on the side and a glass of orange juice.. lovely staff, nice ambience.
