Cafe Mexicana in Cork

Finally had a taste of Mexican food. Ordered chimichanga and quesadillas. Twas good 👍. The place is a bit crowded and noisy. Staff are courteous and smiley.

This is the best Mexican restaurant In Cork! The staff are attentive, the food incredible and the atmosphere is lovely, and cosy. It had been years since I was here last and honestly, the quality has never faltered. Another point to note is the value. Many other places jump in the bandwagon raising prices but not here. Pricing is very reasonable and desserts looked amazing (we didnt have time!) Would always recommend Cafe Mexicana it's fabulous!

Cafe Mexicana is my go-to spot whenever I’m in Cork for work, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious, with authentic flavours and great variety. It’s a small restaurant, but that just adds to the intimate and cozy atmosphere. The staff are always super friendly, making every visit enjoyable :) Last time, I had the mole and really liked it, and this time I tried the pollo adobado—it was absolutely delicious. To top it off, the pecan pie for dessert was amazing. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great Mexican food!

One of a kind restaurant in Cork. The atmosphere is very cosy and the food delicious. Finally some real mexican food instead of the same texmex boring stuff you can get anywhere. I don't know why the A/C was blasting cold air around though, it was 4° outside. Everyone was wearing jumper and/or coat inside the restaurant. Apart from that it was impeccable. Will definitely come back!

Gerardo was the best waiter I have ever had. He is so kind!! Abd so thoughtful and so sweet!! Really good food too. But what really stands out about the place is the staff and Gerado really made it special for me and my date. I will defiantly be returning!!

Great place. Very cosy and inviting, the Jalapeño poppers are amazing and the sharing platter. Pitcher of margarita is also amazing. Can’t wait to go back
