Cafe Mexicana in Cork

Great place to dine in Cork + very nice N/A cocktail options!

Real authentic Mexican food! We ordered different dishes and all of them were really good. Pescado a la Veracruzana, Enchiladas verdes and Enchiladas de Mole , Flautas de pollo and for dessert Churros! We also had Dobel Diamanté Tequila for the cold weather.

Simply the best Mexican restaurant in Ireland. And we have frequented quite a few. 100% authentic dishes and a real home cooked feel. Cosy place, really nice stuff, and oodles of atmosphere. A must for any Mexicano food lover in Cork.

I cannot emphasise how much I still vividly remember the taste of the Albondigas and chili we ordered. Mind blowing. All I knew and what I thought I knew about Mexican food before going to cafe Mexicana was completely changed. The flavours and the heat, the kidney beans… I miss this place dearly even though I’ve only been there once. It was a place my boyfriend highly recommends when he was living there and I visited him. Now both of us feel that we’ve been spoiled by how good the food is at Cafe Mexicana, that we just went to a random Mexican restaurant in a popular area somewhere in England, totally disappointed and kept saying we have to definitely come back to cork for cafe Mexicana. Much love to this place.

The food we ordered was delicious, the waiters were super attentive and helpful, and the music is varied and good too, it is a very good place to eat here in Cork.

Really cute place for Mexican food, probably the only one in the city. Make sure you try their Sangria!

Generous and very rich dishes. Very nice place. Good attention.

Excellent experience in Cafe Mexicana, we shared the toastda to start and went for the chicken salad and Duo combo with 1 taco and enchilada for main. Very large portions so you won't be leaving here hungry. The service could have been a little more attentive but it was lunchtime so the staff were busy. Would definately recommend and will visit again!
