The food was nice and tasty. We were in Cavan coffee shop first, decided to go and see how it is in Belturbet it was good. The food was nice, just soup was a little bit salty, but just for our taste. General everything was great.

Had strawberry and banna smoothie for 5.5 with strawberry mousse for 5 euro Both are flawless. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is lovely. Bathroom is clean and tidy. Would be coming back again for sure

Tried the almond croissant at the Gifted fair yesterday and absolutely loved it. Crunchy outside with melting inside, lovely marzipan filling. Price absolutely reasonable!

The CowHouse cafe & bistro

22/06/2025: Was having breakfast with my father for his birthday, my food came out 10 minutes before his so by the time his fry arrived mine was eaten. Coffee was good, my focaccia was disappointing, the mini fry was good for the price, timing/ service was a let down. Will try the place again in the future in the hope that they were just a bit inundated with orders…
17/06/2025: Such a lovely hidden gem. Food was excellent . Lovely staff. Can't wait to visit again
