Found this little gem while at a wedding. Can not recommend highly enough. Beautiful little shop along with lovely coffee and really attentive staff. Even the takeaway cups are gorgeous!

We had a wonderful time at Cafe On The Lane. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Lots of fresh pastries, cakes, etc. and a good selection of savoury sandwiches too. Reasonably priced and the quality of the food and drinks is fantastic. Very cute decor too.

The Whale's Tail

17/04/2026: One of the best restaurants I've been too, inside and outside both look amazing and the food and service is good EVERYTIME. I would definitely recommend to anybody I meet.
15/04/2026: Crab croquetes and Duck Gyozas were very good, so was the dessert (Rhubard Crumble). Seafood linginies I didn't like, too much creamy and greasy. Also comparing to similar restaurants in the area it is too expensive. And the toilet was dirty, the water didn't run properly!
