14/04/2026: The staff were so friendly and helpful! The food and drinks were great, and it was nice to have a pint in the afternoon next to a warm fire after a day of exploring the area. It’s an old-school hotel right across from Michael Collins’ house. Highly recommended.

24/10/2025: We've been to berts about 5 times now and every time It is just the best experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the restaurant is lovely and clean and the food is honestly some of the nicest we have ever had, every time we come here. We traveled over an hour from the city today and it's always worth the journey!

04/10/2025: Absolutely top tier bread, we regularly pick up a loaf and it's always bang on. I popped in first thing recently for breakfast and I was seriously impressed with the cinnamon swirl, highly recommended!

17/04/2026: One of the best restaurants I've been too, inside and outside both look amazing and the food and service is good EVERYTIME. I would definitely recommend to anybody I meet.
15/04/2026: Crab croquetes and Duck Gyozas were very good, so was the dessert (Rhubard Crumble). Seafood linginies I didn't like, too much creamy and greasy.
Also comparing to similar restaurants in the area it is too expensive.
And the toilet was dirty, the water didn't run properly!
