21/03/2025: The pizza at Oak Fire Pizza was absolutely delicious—fresh ingredients, great flavors, and a perfect crust. However, the service could use some improvement. We had an unfortunate incident where a staff member (lady) banged the pizza plate twice on our table, which was extremely loud and came across as quite disrespectful. Also she dint knew what pizza we ordered lol, otherwise enjoyable dining experience. A little more attentiveness and professionalism from the staff would make this place even better. Hope to see improvements on our next visit!

09/03/2025: Ive been there for 4 days in a row . The food is lovely. in my opinion oak fire in clonakilty is the best oak fire out all and theres a fella from argentina there that made my pizza thats why i came back the next day his really nice and even the girls at the tilt really nice and pleasant atmosphere and nice conversation. I never make reviews really but i had too and also really clean .

20/09/2024: Lovely little bar with traditional music pretty much daily. Was here on a previous trip to Ireland, made sure to return. Very friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Also, there's a public free parking lot super close; that was a nice surprise.

08/02/2025: What an incredible establishment owned by fine folk and has been passed from generation to generation in the family for over 100 years. I know the owner and can attest that he’s just the loveliest, kindest gent of a man who cares deeply about preserving this legacy! Wonderful staff and music that flows steady as the pints — what else can one ask for?!

09/03/2025: Chef and owner don’t know what sourdough is. 31 euro for 4 pieces of monkfish and 4 prawns in a tomato soup dressed as stew served with commercial “sourdough” aka a slice pan.
Eaten there 10+ times in the past and always had issues.
Cost cutting in the kitchen at those prices. You’ll be found out.
03/03/2025: First Class. If you are going or near Clonakilty you cannot miss An Sugan. As a group of 14 attending a Backgammon competition in Clonakilty, I booked An Sugan. We have been in An Sugan several times before and is never fails to deliver exceptional food and service. All 14 of us thououghly enjoyed the food and ambience of this restaraunt. We as a groupd had a variety of starters, main courses and deserts, every single person complimented the food. I am sorry In never got the waitress name but she was so professional and polite. Upon arrival we were greeted by Denis who is a legend. Many thanks for making our night an enjoyable and memotable night. Thank you so much.
