01/01/2024: Just left An Sugan, on entering the premises I approached the bar to order some drinks we were advised to sit at a table. When the server approached us at the table I asked for a coffee and a ballygowan and was advised that my order couldn’t be taken as space was limited. There were 6 other people on the premises. I think if a bar does not want to serve drink unless you are having food maybe a notice on the door would be useful. Shocking customer service, to be dismissed in the manner that we were

13/01/2024: It has the most exceptional musicians in a relatively small and intimate setting..I routinely travel in excess of 300 KMs just to catch the music here. Bill Shanley's mam is the proprietor and Bill will often gig here (look the guy up and you'll understand) and not withstanding all of this..it's a lovely cosy pub with a very pleasant clientele

05/04/2024: Had a meal here Thurs night with a large group of 15 adults and the service and food was excellent.The y were very efficient and were flexible to our requests.From vegan adjustments to heating milk for a toddler.Will definitely visit again
19/03/2024: A group of four of us had dinner here on the weekend. It was very busy but our reservation was exact on time.
The menu was excellent and the food fantastic. We all had a main and a dessert and the bill was under €150.
Toilets very clean. Staff very friendly.

The food was extremely good quality and beautifully presented. Highly recommend.
17/09/2023: This is one of the nicest places to eat at this part of West Cork. It is located right in the centre of clonality town and it has a very nice atmosphere, The staff are very nice and the food is of excellent quality. You can get tapas here also and the menu is varied. They have an ample selection of wines to choose from also. I would highly recommend a visit to this place for dinner and I would recommend booking in advance especially if you're visiting on weekends.

Sam's pizza and kebab

04/02/2024: Stood waiting to order while he was on the phone. Told cash only. Finally order my food and there was not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 hairs in my kebab and chips. Threw it in the bin and down 12 quid. Absolutely disgusting, never ever had problems until today

23/03/2024: A complete local shop selling good foods. Major let-down for my visit was no oatmilk or soya milk for drinks over the counter. I had hoped for a memorable breakfast at O Keefe's with a decaff drink. They open 7am. Wonderful scones and croissants made up for decaff black tea, no milk. And their own bread and savouries are very popular. Busy and staff were lovely but just missed "the icing on the cake" for me thinking of their wide range of artisan foods on the shelves but no alternatives from dairy milk for their over the counter drinks.
