O'Keeffe's Restaurant in Clonakilty

A complete local shop selling good foods. Major let-down for my visit was no oatmilk or soya milk for drinks over the counter. I had hoped for a memorable breakfast at O Keefe's with a decaff drink. They open 7am. Wonderful scones and croissants made up for decaff black tea, no milk. And their own bread and savouries are very popular. Busy and staff were lovely but just missed "the icing on the cake" for me thinking of their wide range of artisan foods on the shelves but no alternatives from dairy milk for their over the counter drinks.

Neighborhood store where you can get multiple interesting and sometimes surprising things, it is worth visiting!

Always reasonable. Keeping the prices as low as they can. Cakes and deli are delicious

It's funny to read the reviews about the deli staff. We didn't order from them but they were scowling at us from behind the meat counter. As a tourist, it made me giggle. We shopped the fresh baked goods. So delicious! Made my day to eat those with some salted butter. I would say it was pricey, but hey--it's 2023. We got bread, crackers, packaged meat, yogurt, a block of cheddar, apples, mayo, jelly, Boursin--stuff to make snacks out of...I'd say it was worth it. It was also the closest grocery store to where we were staying, just a quick walk to grab it all. That made it appealing, too. Yeah, it's a cute shop. Customer service is nothing to write home about, but that doesn't bother me at all.

Stopped in for a breakfast roll as staying nearby. What a winner, stuffed full of breakfasty things and tasted awesome. Massive thumbs up 👍🏼
