The Chunky Chip in Clonakilty

Top notch fish and chips, fresh fish, crispy batter and the chips were excellent. My only gripe - no mushy peas on the menu! But that doesn’t detract, an excellent experience.

Got the fish and chips, and it was fast for sure, but the fish wasnt very nice, very mushy and slimy. The chips were okay, quite soggy. And the served curry was was inedible. And all that for 18.5? For a single person, far FAR too expensive, especially for the quality (or lack therof) you get

Fantastic experience today while there with a party of 10 people, some people with disabilities in our group also. We were treated so well and made to fell welcome. Food was cooked to order, delicious and everyone finished everything! Thanks for the great experience👏👏

My friends and I had food at the Chunky Chip on 1st July. The food was lovely and fresh and great value. Highly recommend it, I don't usually eat in takeaways, but this is an exception, spotlessly clean.

Arrived yesterday after a evening at the beach. Food was fast to order. We were going to get takeaway but with 2 kids in the car we decided to go back in and sit down. I asked was it OK to come in and sit and i think its the owner said absolutely no issues. He was so friendly and even brought over some orange juice to give to my kids for free! The staff were so so nice and welcoming (even when my over tired kids were jumping around) The food was lovely chips were perfect and the curry sauce was very very good! We will be back!
