13/08/2026: I have tried this place maybe four or five times as I kept trying to give the place a chance, unfortunately the first time the food was bland as ever, half the order was missing, second time same thing there is so flavour to there food ordered a portion of chicken balls last time I had to actually use paper as there was soo much oil it made me sick.
Also the service inside there is shocking the girl that answers the phone really does not want to be there, and isn't friendly and would also try to rush you as well. By far the worst Chinese in west Cork

02/07/2026: Literally the best kebabs I’ve ever had in my life. Dont listen to all the hater reviews genuinely can’t believe people could say those things about this place. I saw him freshly pulling and stretching the nan dough. And the CKICKEN was so undeliverablely juicy and fresh. The garlic sauce was yogurt based which added an extra depth of fresh flavour. And the spicy sauce was perfect subtle but pleasant. They were all very generously filled and lots of meat too. As seen in photo. The guy in the shop seamed so happy to see costumers he seamed to be in a very jolly mood. He double checked are order, and made sure we had everything we wanted and asked if there was something we wanted to change to the kebab. We only waited just about under 10mins. The price was also amazing €8 for all that. feeling happy and full. So happy about my experience here and I really do think it’s very underrated. My heart truly goes out to him.

28/07/2025: Really reasonable, delicious food. We went for lots of small plates, devoured by adults and kids alike. Really enjoyed it!
08/06/2025: Good clean food at a very reasonable price, excellent service and very very tasty. Would highly recommend the chicken with black bean or the veggie bento box.

12/07/2026: Lovely cafe, we got sandwiches and they were delicious. The ingredients are really good and the coffee was very good.
There is great choice of food. Will definitely return when next in the area.

The Alley Garden Bistro Bar

06/10/2025: We had a BBQ for our wedding day 2 at the Alley Garden in August and our 75 guests were delighted. Super friendly staff and lovely beer garden to enjoy some fresh air, great for live music too (we had some trad going on). Food was simple yet tasty and buffet style was efficient. We had brought in some of our wedding decoration and it made the place really cosy. Thanks Keith & team for the service!
