Great brunch/lunch spot! Very dog friendly (can sit inside and staff will make a fuss over them 😂) and baby friendly too. Service lovely and food/coffee spot on too

Over priced, food was only ok, got loaded hash and veggie breakfast. Veggie was cold and sourdough toast was poor. Hash was just a pile of small pre-package hash browns stuck together with sauce. The pudding and sausage was chopped up so small you couldn't taste it. The room was very loud, not a relaxing Sunday morning place unfortunately.

I actually went here 3 months ago and I'm only writing this review now because I cannot stop craving another one of their west cork breakfast burritos. The food here will not disappoint. By far one of the top breakfast I've ever had and the staff were kind and accommodating.

The food in Bert’s is exceptional. Have Been there many times and have never been disappointed. The staff and owner are so nice. Brilliant for breakfast and lunch. Would highly recommend!!

15/06/2026: Fabulous hotel with parking available right outside on our arrival! Lovely staff, wonderful room. Extremely comfortable with lots of lovely touches, wasn't expecting a gift upon check out! Wonderful location, close to town.
09/06/2026: Great location. We were concerned about parking but there was no issues. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Bed was very cosy, slept well. Food was average. Nice touch giving a candle at checkout. Would stay again.

05/06/2026: Maggie draper is the best bartender ever. Absolutely top-class bartender. Not only did they remember my drink order after the first round, but they somehow managed to understand my increasingly questionable explanations as the night went on. Their cocktail-making skills are so good that I briefly considered becoming a regular just to watch them work. Friendly, quick, and equipped with the patience of a saint, they kept the drinks flowing and the banter even better. If customer service were an Olympic sport, they’d be standing on the podium while the rest of us were still trying to find our tabs. Highly recommend—though they may have set my expectations for all future bartenders impossibly high.” 🍸😂
