The food was lovely. The decor was very industrial and it was extremely noisy.

Brilliant all round. Best seafood platter I've ever had! Service professional throughout.

Our second visit to The Whales Tail was disappointing. Average carvery style dishes, tasteless fish goujons, all overpriced. Crab claw starter was good to be fair but poor value overall.

service was great, whole team was super friendly and welcoming, my girlfriend and I shared the seafood platter and we loved it. On top of that the the triple chocolate hit might have been one of the best desserts I ever had, will definitely be back next time I am in Cork! :)

We had a very delicious dinner at your restaurant today. Incredibly tender fish, with a wonderful sauce, steamed broccoli and lightly crusted potatoes. I recommend it! The waiters are very pleasant, and the presentation of the dishes meets high standards. Thank you!

Well what can I say,first of all we were greeted at the door very warmly,our server Danny was brilliant, made good recommendations a good crack but also professional in his job,starters had great presentation and flavours popped in your mouth,Main course again couldn't fault it,and dessert ,well,main course beat all but me,I had one,couldn't resist. Would highly recommend this establishment, booking though is a must..
