I was in Athboy today and was passing so stopped off for a coffee. I sat in the outside area. Which was beautiful. I had a look at there menu and said o I'll have to try the goats cheese salad. Which I have to say was beautiful lovely flavours. Only thing it could have is a bit more of goats cheese as it was so good. My little girl had chicken goujons and chips and were really nice and fresh. Menu is very good as it's hard to find a cafe in the area that does nice food and great selection to. I'll definitely be back with the rest of the family for food. Staff are very friendly and helpful to. Very clean also.
Had a lovely family dining experience in Sabrosa today. Incredible food, great value, excellent customer service and allergen awareness.
Will definitely call again.
Our server was rude . 11 cyclists today . We were clubbing out seats together we were told not to as seats had to be left for other customers. What did she expect, for some of us to stand . ?11 people need 11 chairs . We got coffee and by time out scones came coffee was cold .
Stopped in on the way back from Killua Castle and was pleasantly surprised. Very cute spot, nice service, and the food was really good. I had chicken wings to start and the superfood salad with chicken as my main — loads of flavour in the salad. The wing sauce wasn’t quite to my taste as I’m used to buffalo, but the wings were nicely cooked. I’ll definitely be back.
My favorite season for a rambling Sunday Afternoon drive is spring when nature is showing you all things are possible and the country roads are blooming with lush growth which was how we ended up in Athboy. I have wanted to embrace the physical presence of Athboy since as a teenager my pals mother traveled regularly from the Donabate peninsula to McElhinny's in Athboy for the finest fashion. It was a serendipity experience to find this wonderful restaurant on the site of the iconic fashion store. We were in the mood for a good food experience and we found all we wanted here excellent food lovely staff in a modern comfortable dining space. I like to find the good around me in life and showcase it because I believe in being grateful and appreciative and this restaurant clearly works hard to make customers believe in them. We had a wonderful afternoon in Athboy and the Cafe Sabrosa helped to fill our mind body and hearts with a flowering of delicious experiences.
