Cake Me Away Anna Kaczmarek in Carrick-on-shannon

Decided to try this place, when it first opened didn't look to promising as there was a bluebottle stuck on one of their cakes so I passed that day. But I santed to try the dubai brownie which was 6.50 as a treat 😳. Looked great which is why I bought but tasted just okay, topping was how u would imagine but the brownie itself was dry and bland if it had been a bit more fudgier n rich in chocolate flavour could have been a 10/10. Service was to be desired, standing a long time when it really wasn't busy and just got dumped my change without too much friendliness. Came in a good to go box tho. Regardless there selection of cakes and sweet things n sandwiches is impressive of a tad expensive and would like to sit in at some point as the place looks good for a stop off. Coffee is really good, matcha not so much. Would recommend the éclairs on a second visit since.

A wonderful selection of delicious treats and drinks! All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (I had a hard time making up my mind - so many great choices)!

The cake was absolutly amaizing,inside out.Everyone loved it, the kids were amazed by it and the mums were fascinated. The taste was delicious. Thank you so so much! I will allways recomand you. My son loved his birthday cake. Thank you❤️

I was recently with my wife for breakfast, very delicious, it was easy to feel the freshness of the products, everything was perfectly prepared and seasoned, large portions. I wanted to mention the staff who were very professional and helpful, we will definitely come back there and recommend everyone to visit Cake Me Away

Oh my... I just bought the Dubai Brownie (€6.50) and a flat white. While I am still drinking the flat white, which is delicious by the way, I just had to get on here and write a review. So I got them takeaway. I say in to my car and before I pulled away I pulled a lump off the brownie and stuffed it in my mouth. And we'll please excuse the next bit but "Oh My God" were the only words to come out. It was amazing. It was soft and creamy, chewy and crunchy. It was wonderfully delicious, and I cannot wait for another one. So if you like pistachios and brownies then get in there. They also do an amazing pistachio croissant. But the Dubai Brownie definitely gets 10/10. Sorry the picture is so bad, I only just managed to leave this bit for my friend to try. Lol.

I bought a meringue today.Ive possibly never tasted anything so perfect before.

Today me and my partner went to this restaurant. We weren’t greeted and stood awkwardly near the till for the first 5 minutes. A server then told us we could order at the till and then find our own seats. She then indicated to a stack of menus and waited for us to order. My partner ordered a crepe and was told they couldn’t do crepes with no reasoning, at which point she ordered pancakes. Once we ordered all of the available tables and seats either had dirt/food on them or had previous customers plates and cups on them. Once we picked our seat we received our coffees, which were nice and one of the food items we ordered. This was a tuna sandwhich which for 7.50€ was tiny and far from substantial. My partner was offered 2 or 4 pancakes and selected 2 as we assumed they would be reasonably substantial. We were incorrect and were served two of the tiniest pancakes with a scatter of bacon. We left disappointed and hungry, we went to McDonald’s afterwards as we were still starved.

Anna's cakes are a real work of art, the level of detail is amazing, the cake within was really delicious and moist.
