Callans Bar and Restaurant in

Been meaning to try here for a while. Didn't book it,but still seated immediately. We had turkey and ham and the lamb.Both very good portions and good portion of veg too. Will definitely be back in the not so distant future.

Food delicious and staff are very friendly and helpful..will be back .

I rang at 4pm and booked a table for 8pm. The service is very good and the menu is reasonably priced. We had chicken wings to start and mains were salmon and chicken kiev. Callans is probably competing with Fitzpatricks/The Brake/Donnegans, as they offer a similar menu. For me, Fitzpatricks and Donnegans are in the top two, while The Brake and Callans in the bottom half of the four restaurants.

Best roast beef in ages, few euro more but well worth it

Great food but very poor service.

We had booked a table for 2 for dinner last night. The staff were very friendly & their advise & guidance on the menu were excellent. We are not new to Callan's so I was very disappointed to see how dusty it was. There was dust on the ledge beside where we were sitting & cobwebs on the decorative brances & throughout the ladies toilets. I know it is the Halloween season but these are not decorative cobwebs!.

Excellent food and friendly atmosphere

Wow Wow Wot Team Callans.From our arrival until departure all we can say is Wow. We were met by Sandra who showed us to our lovely table, and took our drinks order. We were then advised of the Special Menu on offer, and we placed our order. Thank you Sandra. We both shared Crab Claws, and all we can say is Wow Chef Aidan for a fabulous starter. For mains I chose 1/2 Lobster with Garlic and Chilli Butter on the side - you must have this dish, is pure shellfish heaven on a plate so once again thank you Chef Aidan. My sister chose Beef Stroganoff and it was beef heaven on a plate, so once again thank you Chef. OUr wonderful meals were served by Ciara so thank you Ciara for all your help too. Callans is a very special place indeed. Thank you ALL at Team Callans from M & C..

Lovely meal, good size portions. The wine was beautiful. The menu is a bit pricey, but worth it

Visited Callans Bar and Restaurant last Saturday for a birthday celebration with my partner. We both ordered steak for mains...food was lovely but way overpriced. Paid €45 for a T bone steak and €36 for a strip loin. Can see myself going back there again with those extortionate prices.
