Canal Bank Cafe in Dublin

Loved every bit of our dinner at Canal Bank Café while on holiday. It was close to our hotel, and the food and service were lovely. The atmosphere was so cozy and nice. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Cozy little restaurant in what looks like a repurposed house. The salad was enough to share and the mushroom soup was exquisite.

Loved this place. Very friendly welcome. Staff were super and the food was delicious. We are in Dublin for a long weekend and booked based on reviews. Would highly recommend.

V nice spot. For sure a few quid had been spent to open the café where it is, so it's understandable that the menu is not on the cheaper side. Had the eggs Benedict the ham was very good.. chargrilled thick cut. Coffee was on the small side.

We went here a number of months ago for lunch. Food was lovely, I went with the chicken club sandwich which was lovely. I also got a coffee to go with it. Staff were really friendly too, would definitely recommend this place.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant, the fish of the day dish was the best I’ve ever had. Thoughtful and attentive staff, we will be back.

Had the aubergine dish on Sunday along with the pasta special… came back Monday and both had the aubergine!! Delicious. Service a touch better Sunday night than Monday, but really just trying to find a negative in the most positive, delicious dinner experience!

Esta joya de una cafetería está a unos 10 minutos a pie de la calle. Stepen's Park pero mucho más cerca del número 31, donde nos alojamos. Es un pequeño café en una esquina en lo que se siente como un barrio residencial. Si bien el menú es pequeño, ofrece algo para todos. Nos encantó la sopa marroquí como entrada y el lenguado como principal - suficiente para compartir para los dos, junto con vino y cerveza. Si miras un mapa. puede parecer lejos, pero era un paseo fácil y en realidad justo en una ruta de autobús urbano. Disfrutarás de esta joya del barrio.

Not a huge menu but the cocktail I had (gin & passion fruit) was quite tasty and the burger was very good with high quality beef and bun. Nothing too amazing, but a solid sit down dinner.
