Canal Bank Cafe in Dublin

Estábamos aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Tenía calamares crujientes para empezar. Estaba bien, pero claramente no había sido cocinado fresco. La masa tenía esa textura endurecida que muestra que se cocinó demasiado tiempo o fue en su segunda vez. Mi hamburguesa estaba bien. Mi hermana tenía lenguado de limón, que dijo que era excelente. Otro tenía la tortilla, que también estaba buena. El servicio también fue rápido y amable. Lo que realmente me desanimó, sin embargo, fueron dos tipos que trajeron un perro pequeño. Lo sentaron debajo de su mesa, y jadeó todo. Estaban alimentando a la maldita cosa de su mesa, y ladraba cada vez que quería más comida. NO hay lugar para perros (excepto el servicio) en los restaurantes, y me decepcionó que esto estaba permitido. Realmente necesitan cambiar su política a este respecto. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, pero fue bueno en partes. Volvería si cambiaran su política de perros.

Absolutely loved it. Wonderful atmosphere, food was delicious, and service was excellent.

Nossa visita ao estabelecimento foi em geral bem agradável. Tivemos uma boa recepção e um bom atendimento. O ambiente é bastante bonito. De fora, o ambiente parece um pouco escuro, mas de dentro se percebe que está na medida exata para um local aconchegante. Há alguns espelhos, velas, mesas com um espaçamento adequado e principalmente... um excelente som ambiente. A playlist que tocava no restaurante em nossa visita estava de bastante bom gosto. Quanto à comida, estava ok. Não podemos dizer que não estava boa. Contudo, creio que um acréscimo de temperos poderia incrementar um pouquinho o sabor. Ainda assim, é um lugar que vale a pena a visita.

What a great restaurant - we were looking for a late lunch and walked past. It looked good from outside, neat tables with nice wineglasses set out. The menu looked interesting and we received a friendly welcome. Nice selection of wines by the bottle and glass - I had a really nice Albariño then a glass of Rioja which was great. The food was really good, a chicken salad, a beautifully cooked steak full of flavour, sides of greens and a salad and perfect matchstick fries. Everything was delicious. A great find.

Super restaurant. Amazing food, and a great range so everyone can find what they like. Staff were so attentive, and they really go above and beyond. Felt like royalty!

Loved every bit of our dinner at Canal Bank Café while on holiday. It was close to our hotel, and the food and service were lovely. The atmosphere was so cozy and nice. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Cozy little restaurant in what looks like a repurposed house. The salad was enough to share and the mushroom soup was exquisite.

Loved this place. Very friendly welcome. Staff were super and the food was delicious. We are in Dublin for a long weekend and booked based on reviews. Would highly recommend.

V nice spot. For sure a few quid had been spent to open the café where it is, so it's understandable that the menu is not on the cheaper side. Had the eggs Benedict the ham was very good.. chargrilled thick cut. Coffee was on the small side.
