Canal Bank Cafe in Dublin

Food was good, service was great. We were there in August, it was very warm in the restaurant. I would imagine that the experience would be better during the cooler months.

Very nice dinner. Everything we ordered was delicious, reasonably priced and the staff was friendly. Patient with our squirmy kids

We had a beautiful meal here this evening. I have food allergies and there was no problem with changes to their menu. I felt listened to by the lovely staff and really enjoyed my meal which was beautifully cooked, and in a wonderful setting. We thoroughly recommend the Canal Bank Cafe

Absolutely superb place and we celebrated our mother’s special day with family. Florin & Ellen served us and we also got a toast by the handsome owner-Trevor Browne! Brought us shots at the end! Lovely food and nice atmosphere! Small boutiquey place and very cosy! Photos say it all! High quality food alongside high quality prices!!

Conocí a mi compañero para almorzar. Las instalaciones, el personal y el servicio eran excelentes. Mi ensalada de fajita de pollo era muy agradable, pero tal vez tenía "demasiado" y era un poco caro para lo que era. Mi compañera tenía la pasta que le pareció decepcionante, parecía pasta penne con un poco de pesto verde, de nuevo sobreprecio por lo que es. Finalmente, la omnipresente "opción de propina" al pagar con tarjeta no es bienvenida en absoluto, ya que se siente como un poco de presión social para separarse de más dinero. Esto está entrando por todas partes.

Very good restaurant. Good food and good quantity. Service is perfect! The only problem is the noise inside which is tiring.

We went here for brunch a few times. They stick with the classics and make it to perfection. Really good food. Never disappoint. Service is great, all staff is friendly and welcoming. Will keep coming back ☺️

Absolutely stunning restaurant with very attentive staff! Our group were caught in traffic with the various events on today but front of house couldn’t have been more understanding! We got the guacamole, hummus & heirloom tomato/mozzarella starters followed by the pasta of the day & the aubergine for mains. Everything was just incredible - so tasty & well presented! I would go back for the aubergine alone. The cocktails are divine too and some alcohol free options available which were equally as nice. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant more, thank you Canal Bank Cafe 🥰

Estábamos aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Tenía calamares crujientes para empezar. Estaba bien, pero claramente no había sido cocinado fresco. La masa tenía esa textura endurecida que muestra que se cocinó demasiado tiempo o fue en su segunda vez. Mi hamburguesa estaba bien. Mi hermana tenía lenguado de limón, que dijo que era excelente. Otro tenía la tortilla, que también estaba buena. El servicio también fue rápido y amable. Lo que realmente me desanimó, sin embargo, fueron dos tipos que trajeron un perro pequeño. Lo sentaron debajo de su mesa, y jadeó todo. Estaban alimentando a la maldita cosa de su mesa, y ladraba cada vez que quería más comida. NO hay lugar para perros (excepto el servicio) en los restaurantes, y me decepcionó que esto estaba permitido. Realmente necesitan cambiar su política a este respecto. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, pero fue bueno en partes. Volvería si cambiaran su política de perros.
