Always a great experience in Captain House. Staff are always very friendly and helpful. Food is always beautiful 😍 probably is my favourite place for dinner 🍽

Great night, food was fantastic. Calamari for starters and the burger for mains. One if the nicest burgers I have had in a long time. Handmade and seasoned in house. Delicious. Staff excellent, very friendly and up for the banter. Highly recommend, we will be back

We visited as a family of 4 (two teenage children). Unfortunately when we arrived this evening there was a VERY loud party of 6 in the restaurant which wasn’t a great start! We ordered our food from a very pleasant and attentive young man. My husband’s starter along with my own was garlic mushrooms. I found the sauce to taste a little bland and almost “watered down”. Our main courses (2 pasta dishes) were extremely salty. So much so that I only ate a few forkfuls and my husband left mussels behind!!…..not at all normal for him! Even my children commented on the chips with their meals being salted quite a bit. My husband was particularly disappointed as we don’t tend to eat out as a family that often so it was unfortunate. On a positive note, the staff we encountered couldn’t have been nicer and extremely apologetic when we mentioned how salty the food was. Our bill was reduced by the cost of my main course by way of apology. We did leave a tip in the end purely for the young man who served us. I would certainly value him as an employee if I were the proprietor.

First time here. It was lovely. Nice atmosphere and really pleasant and polite wait staff. Food was delicious. Definitely will return

Tiny coin size scallops starter cost €16. 1cm thick T bone cost €47.50 and was very poorly cooked, supposedly chargrilled but looked boiled. The quality of the food needs to improve drastically to justify these prices.
