Played this fabulous creation with a Lifetime member in October. It was part of a weekend of Golf.Texas scramble. 4 ball better ball. Best set of par 3s you will find anywhere. Fab greens brilliant welcome from Management.Golf shop and clubhouse staff. 4 amazing days of golf. Thanks Peter Jim and Stacey for your company. Highly recommend a visit. And the town of Bellmullet has amazing pubs and restaurants. Oh and the Guinness.
SIMPLY STUNNING! What an amazing weekend in Carne for the friends of carne. This has everything you could possibly dream of.
First class hospitality from Gerry/Fiona and team, course was in top class condition. What a special place and i can't wait to get back.👌
Go to Carne. Play both routings. Have a few pints on the porch over looking the dunes. Stay in Bellemullet and go to McDonnels. No Irish golf trip is complete without this spiritual links experience. The hospitality and conditioning were top notch. The links are wild running through dramatic dune land with ocean and farm views all around. If you love golf you simply must go to experience this magical place. Words will not do it justice.

Incredible golf course and great value for money.
With the course being miles away from a big city, I’m surprised there isn’t a bigger push for the welcome and hospitality to be 10/10.
You don’t leave thinking - what a wonderful experience. But you do leave remembering how great the course is.
What an unbelievable place. Gerry is a great host and the golf course is very special. Try to play it with somebody that has played it before to get the full experience. Dinner and drinks were top notch to cap off a wonderful day at Carne. I'll be back.
