Fantastic place, food and atmosphere. Great views of the Lake and the house is wonderful.

Absolutely one of the best experiences in hospitality out there. Second to none. We enjoyed two weekends here over the past few months and both weekends were amazing. From the moment you arrive you will experience the calm professionalism of seasoned hosts. Food was simply perfection on every level. A cosy beautiful restaurant with staff who are absolutely brilliant. After your meal relax in one of the drawing rooms which are intimate and very private. Breakfasts were cooked to order and delicious. Spent the afternoons reading the papers with a G&T, pure bliss! Can’t wait to return!

A Truly Unique Stay at a Beautiful Victorian BnB Staying at Carrig house was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautifully cared for and retains all the charm of its original Victorian style. Every detail has been thoughtfully maintained, making it feel like stepping back in time—but with all the modern comforts. The wifi was comfortable at 200 mbps. The personalized touch made us feel like close family friends rather than just guests. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations. The owners Frank and Mary would go over the dinner menu and while we enjoyed a pre dinner drink and in one of the diffent themed parlour rooms. We were then brought to the main dining room with a stunning lakeside view just as the sun set paints the lake view with natural warmth of the setting sun. We enjoyed a delicious meal featuring local Kerry lamb and fish freshly caught from the lake, providing an authentic taste of the region. It was a true local experience that made our visit feel even more special. We stayed here for 2 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality and comfort of the home. If you're looking for a charming, one-of-a-kind stay with a touch of history and plenty of personal attention, I highly recommend Carrig country house and restaurant.

Dining at Carrig House is a definite must ! Every time I visit the area I make sure to book a table here. The setting looking out on the stunning Caragh Lake is spectacular. The service is second to none, with Claire, Mary and Frank being excellent hosts who always make the visit a special experience. The food is always delicious, great selection and perfect portion sizes. The wine selection is also amazing. There is nothing I would want to be changed about Carrig House and I'm already looking forward to next summer when I will definitely be returning.

We were renting a house locally for holidays and walked up the road to Carrig where we had booked dinner. Well! What a delicious dinner it was too! We enjoyed a varied menu, which was fantastically prepared. The food was really well prepped, cooked and presented. The view from the dining room is quite simply majestic, and the staff were wonderfully welcoming and accommodating. Absolutely well worth it.
