Carton House in

The "Spirit" of Carton House is kind natured and warm. We were made to feel very welcome throughout all of our experiences over 4 days. Don't even get me started about the quality of the food and the lovely dining experiences! I also believe Carton House is an excellent value. I hope to return one day soon. I am grateful.

Great place for a short family break.

Excellent venue, provided ideal rooms for the meeting i was in attendance at. Spacious, clean, quiet, excellent temperature and most of all the service was excellent.

Everything is impressive and worth its high price

Hotel is part of a very good golf club so the extra facilities are very good . My room was very comfortable , especially the bed . Good shower and a lovely bedroom to stay . We had dinner in the golf club , lovely table with a large round seat on one side . Food was very good ( I had steak which was perfectly cooked as I ordered ) . I’d say the steak wasn’t that big . The staff throughout the hotel was very helpful and most importantly felt they wanted to work there and look after the customers . Breakfast was fine but a bit too complicated , eg fruit juices in a different room to the buffet continental breakfast which had some form of juice but still don’t know what it was . You could order cooked food which was great for a freshly cooked egg ( your choice ) but the rest was pre cooked including over cooked bacon and black pudding . Coffee again freshly prepared but an americano that I couldn’t drink . Overall fabulous location , fab staff , great room ,but breakfast could do better .

Amazing place. Fantastic staff especially Ella and Aoife. Got to meet the owner John Mullen, wife Joan and sister Betty. Made our stay very special. Looking forward to a return visit.

What an amazing evening in The Carriage House. The team were incredible from the moment we walked in the door Emily was kind and welcoming, we then met Maxime & Martha who was was super they couldn’t have been any better the service was spectacular. Ciara, Amy & Zoe were also great. Our food was delicious we will definitely be back for the burger. Thanks to the manger Eddie for booking us in and to all his amazing team.

As a wedding photographer, I always enjoy working at Carton House. The abundance of beautiful locations ideal as a backdrop to beautiful and timeless photographs together with exceptional service, make Carton House a wonderful venue to work at and for Couples to get married at. It is always a pleasure to return to for weddings.
