In Carton House beauty is everywhere. The golden room, the drawing room, the Morrison room, the carriage house etc. are enchanting. The food served was excellent even for me that I’ m gluten free. We had a dinner and a lunch at the Carriage House and a dinner in Kathleen kitchen, both places have also great service. In particular I would like to thank Kostantina for the smooth checking and Brian for the informative and engaging historic tour of the house.

A gorgeous hotel, in a beautiful setting, Carton House is like a majestic home from home. The staff are incredibly attentive and friendly, and no request is too much, which when travelling with a 4month old & 3 year old makes things really easy & stress free. Food was incredible, wine was lovely & we can’t wait to come back!

It's absolutely stunning place and staff are friendly. Very well kept and high standards. The only issue we had even at booking stage and whilst our stay, is the knowledge of staff. It was very difficult to get information about our Xmas stay and what is happening at the hotel. The staff are approachable and friendly but communication is poor.

Absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful hotel. The highlights were the dinner at Kathleen’s kitchen, spa facilities and endless walks around the property which is true historical place. I couldn’t mention the best of the best moments - the house/mansion tour delivered by Brian. This man is a gift for this hotel. I felt like attending a history lesson ❤️

We absolutely loved our stay at Carton House. The location is ideal—close to the city and very easy to travel to. The food was excellent, and the ambiance throughout the property was wonderful. It’s the perfect place to spend a day or two relaxing and unwinding. Carton House suits everyone, whether you’re traveling as a family, a couple, or with friends.

No, no, I'm not paid by the Accor group, but I'm never disappointed by their hotels… What can I say about Carton House except that it was, once again, perfect. The staff were charming, the rooms were clean and huge (we stayed in the historic building), and the grounds were magical. My morning walk at 8 a.m. in freezing temperatures, under a bright blue sky, and with a large mug of hot coffee kindly prepared by the breakfast team, was a truly wonderful moment!
