We had a fantastic stay at Killashee Hotel. We came here for 1 night to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a really special place to mark a special occasion. The rooms and facilities were gorgeous, our dinner was delicious, and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating.

Stunning Hotel, exceptional quality for the price, all the facilities 1 would need, very friendly staff. Lovely food. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Got a helipad incase you arrive in your personal helicopter. 😅 I'll definitely be back, but for longer next time.

First time here, in the Bistro over Christmas/New Year. We were a group of four for lunch.food and service was excellent. One star lost as it was a tad pricey plus the Bistro itself is not very intimate. The ceiling is quite high. Some of our party liked it. I'd definitely go back.

Just visited the Kilashee Hotel for the breakfast as we have a wedding coming up on the 5th June and I have to say the breakfast was top notch it was help yourself so you could eat what you wanted the place was buzzing as there was a wedding the day before lookin forward going back on the 5th June for our own wedding so I will give a update on the rooms and service then bye.

Arboretum Kilquade

25/09/2026: Well deserving of 5* Much much more than a garden centre. A gift for every occasion big or small. Plus Rachel's garden cafe is very popular. We have found The Arboretum Kilquade to have some really experienced gardening specialists who are a great help and support in making appropriate purchasing choices from a very extensive stock of plants and trees and shrubs and a wide range of gardening tools and pots and ornaments etc. Including fountains. Big range of garden furniture and barbecues and plant treatments and foods etc. Not to forget their wide choice of gifts and stationery and even a Ladies Clothes section.
16/09/2026: The restaurant is well stocked with very tasty treats and hot food which is super. The garden centre and shop are a great place to browse. Can loose yourself with the ranges they stock and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a place we frequently visit. And never leave empty handed.

Hazel Mountain Chocolate

25/09/2026: We stopped here on a tour on the way to Cliffs of Moher. It was a cool stop where the owner came out quickly talked about his chocolates and history. But when we all went to buy their coffee beverages and baked goods, everything was basically sold out. Then by the time you get to the till they tell you they don't accept cash. I waited in line for so long that I wish they could have kind of made that known to the line that wrapped to the outside. By the time the last baked good was gone I didn't care and the staff wasn't that welcoming. Also, wanted a tip after telling you it's no cash when you reached the front of the line. The bathrooms didn't have toilet paper and everyone had to wait for a certain stall. First time this happened on the whole trip.
