The food was truly exceptional, but what makes each visit unforgettable is the outstanding customer service. The entire staff is warm, attentive, and highly knowledgeable, which really elevates the dining experience. Special mention goes to Daniel, who went above and beyond for us last night. Since we don’t eat red meat or pork, he carefully checked every detail of the menu, even down to the bread and butter, to ensure everything met our preferences. His dedication and attention to detail were so appreciated. The team at Snaffles is a real credit to Castle Leslie, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for a memorable evening!

A luxurious experience. We stayed one night at the end of August, it’s usually booked up but we got a late cancellation. We had an evening meal, the food and ambiance was a first class experience. The breakfast was superb, table service, I wish more hotels would do this as it avoids queues for the cooked breakfast. The Castle grounds are amazing and we had a couple of nice relaxing walks. On our previous visit we stayed at the Castle which was a bit too quirky for me. We had a new room in the Stables which was large and comfortable with a nice big double bed. The hotel was spotless and the staff friendly and efficient.

We enjoyed our stay at Castle Leslie. It is a quiet hotel, the breakfast was incredible (Snaffles restaurant). Service was fantastic throughout. Spa was lovely, grounds kept very beautiful. Found the room a bit dated but nice overall. If you are looking for a quiet weekend away this place is great!

I cried when I left. This was absolutely best horse back riding holiday ever! Location, horses, ridingvtrails, trainers, rooms, food - all of it amazing. Just wish the rides were all day!

An Unforgettable Dining Experience at Snaffles – Exceptional from Start to Finish! I had a wonderful evening at Snaffles Restaurant in Castle Leslie. The décor is lovely, the atmosphere cosy, and the service is exceptional. Maria and Daniel went out of their way to ensure we had a perfect evening, answering all our questions and never rushing us. At €75, the dinner is great value. It started with a delicious amuse-bouche of smoked salmon, followed by scrumptious focaccia and soda bread with chive butter. We had the Cod Scotch Egg for starters, perfectly runny and elevated by prawn bisque and caviar. The ginger sorbet palate cleanser was a nice touch before our main of Cod with clam and mussel bouillabaisse, roasted vegetables, and potato gratin – all cooked to perfection. Dessert was a highlight: the Chocolate Rocher, a must-try for chocolate lovers. Tea, coffee, and petit fours were included, and the generous portions and excellent presentation made the meal even better. Overall, Snaffles offers incredible food, top-notch service, and a relaxed pace – highly recommend!

Stayed in the lodges at Castle Leslie for my birthday,had a lovely time! Staff were so friendly and my afternoon tea was delicious,every item on the tiers.The room was very classic too only downside was it was very warm at night and had no AC but the rooms did have a fan to use which is handy. The castle itself is stunning and the grounds surrounding! Food at Conor’s bar was really tasty inc the cocktails.Will definitely be back for another visit in future!
