Staff, food, drink and location are all fantastic. Such a unique place to stay!

The staff were welcoming and aways polite. Room and bathroom were very clean and serviced regularly. The Vault restaurant, served lovely, my favourite was the ' beef stew '

A great experience at the hotel. It's very charming and maintains the charisma of its time. We stayed in a large family room (2 adults and 3 girls). We had a very pleasant conversation with the hotel owner, who was kind enough to greet us during breakfast. I highly recommend the waiter, Trevor, for his kindness to my family. One of my daughters had a birthday, and he arranged a surprise celebration she'll never forget, along with a dedication from the musician who was playing at the hotel.

The Castle Hotel was the perfect spot for our vacation! The staff is very helpful, the location is a close 25 min walk to downtown, they have secure bag drop off and the breakfast included was very good. Theres a restaurant on site as well with live music every night! Overall highly recommend

Superb Georgian-style hotel in its original state, well located, quiet, and super friendly staff

Good hotel, though a bit dated. Everything was clean, spacious family room. However, there was a lot of noise from the surrounding rooms. Breakfast options were plentiful, but not everything was always available or replenished on time.

The hotel is well situated to walk into the city or to get the Airport bus. The hotel has lifts. The breakfast was lovely and the evening entertainment enjoyable. The rooms were spacious but a bit in need of some care.

4-star Castle Hotel? My wife and I stayed in Dublin in July, and we were disappointed with the high price of €282.00 per night on offer, and the 4-star rating... which should be reduced. We expected a few more amenities, but the reality was that, although the hotel is historic, beautiful, and centrally located, and they serve a good, standard continental breakfast, we immediately had difficulty finding the location of our room. It's on the fourth floor, behind a fire door and a flight of steps. Could foreign guests be escorted to the rooms and carry their luggage? Unfortunately, the reception only speaks broken English. The double room was small, with a small window that was raised a hand's breadth, blocked, and covered in dust. The bus terminal is right below, and the engine is always running. No air conditioning. On the night of July 13th, it was 30°C (86°F) and very noisy. There's no safe. No mini-fridge. The small bathroom has no window and the exhaust fan is broken. The shower drain is half-clogged, causing anxiety as the water level rises. The sink is small, and there's little space to hang towels. The satellite TV or smart TV had few channels. We've been guests around the world many times and have never found a hotel claiming to be 4 stars that was so poor and so expensive! Goodbye

The hotel is simply wonderful! I think the facilities are fantastic (common areas, restaurant, and bar), and the service is very attentive and helpful! The food—continental breakfast and full Irish—and the dinner were really good. A truly lovely place to stay after all the tiring walking on the cobblestones in Dublin.
