Castle Vaults in Dublin

The best hotel I've stayed in so far: the very central location, the cleanliness of the facilities, the lovely staff (a huge thank you especially to Johaquim, Damien, and Marquis), the incredible and very varied breakfast—in short, I recommend this hotel without hesitation! Another positive point is the services offered at reception: selling adapters for people coming from other countries, excursions in partnership with the provider Wild Rover, allowing tourists to discover the most hidden corners of Ireland.

I stayed 2 nights. The location is very good and the reception staff are fantastic and the room is clean and tidy. However, I probably stayed in the worst room in the hotel where you can hear the street noise as if you were outside and as soon as they start cooking breakfast you can smell all the cooking. At least on Saturdays, 40 minutes before breakfast closes, the staff start tidying up and there is no food left, justifying that it has run out.

The Castle Hotel was a really nice stay. It’s located walking distance to the city centre which was perfect and there are bus stops right around the corner. The hotel had immaculate vintage vibes. We had a minor leak in the bathroom but this was fixed immediately. A big plus is that the hotel restaurant does lunch and dinner as well, which were exceptional!! The staff were all really friendly as well, REALLY friendly. I would reccomend you stay here for any trips to Dublin!

Pros: location, and the old "harry potter" design vibe of the hotel. Cons: rooms are poorly sound-insulated, and breakfast on weekends are chaotic, and you have to go to a second restaurant in the basement and pick your own hot dish you order.

It's so nice to stay in a hotel where all the staff are amazing! I have very fond memories of the staff from morning until breakfast. They are both friendly and very professional. Efficient! A Georgian town restored with charm and elegance. Modern, comfortable rooms. Excellent breakfast, good food. Everything is spotless, excellent location... transport, shops. The hotel is in the heart of Dublin but also a little off the beaten path, so it's quiet. Perfect for couples or families. A truly wonderful stay! I will definitely be back! Annabelle from Venezuela

I had a lovely time in the Castle Hotel. The staff is amazing, and the breakfast was delicious every morning. The interior is warm and welcoming which felt cozy and homely. Great location near to the city centre, museums and the zoo & botanical gardens in the north of Dublin. I will definitely be back next time when I'm in Dublin!

Castle Hotel is a very friendly and nice place to stay in the city center. I really enjoyed! Breakfast was amazing.

The location is excellent. It's close to the city center, and you can visit many tourist attractions on foot. It's also close to bus stops for destinations further away. If you take bus number 16 from DUB airport, the journey takes about 30 minutes, and it's less than a 5-minute walk from the bus stop to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good for me and had enough variety. However, I can't say the same for dinner. Our room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The most significant issue with the room was that it was cold. Since we went in January, the weather was cold and unfortunately the room heating was inadequate. Apart from that, we had dinner at the hotel one evening to watch Irish dancing, but the menu variety was very limited, and there was only one dancer in the show. The dinner was poor value for money.

Room wall was a bit old, I had to call two times because heating system wasn't working, everything else was ok !
