Castletroy Park Hotel and Suites in Limerick

Best hotel ever. Atmosphere warm, staff helpful, friendly and paying attention to little details. Rooms are spacious and clean. Bathroom just perfects. The swimming pool are was under refurbishment however the swimming pool itself was good size to swim. Garden area was perdect for spend time there.

Older but that's the charm, I thought. The room I got was much more spacious than expected - upside of old buildings in many cases. Reasonably attentive service by the staff, and good food -- albeit relatively excessive quantity. The food quantity could be reduced for a bit less pricing, which would help them increase revenue. Very busy hotel with locals who dine and have events, too.

Had a great stay at your hotel. Just a couple of things that I would have pointed out as it seems you are doing some substantial renovations to your leisure center, it would have been nice if that was noted somewhere as for example both the sauna and steam room were not available, the changing rooms are actually outside the building and not everyone would feel comfortable with that. I didn't see any "sorry for the inconvenience" sign or anything similar at reception or at the leisure center and it was not communicated when I checked in. Just a suggestion, overall all good

Stayed Friday to Sunday. Every single member of staff went out of their way to meet, greet, and serve us. Manager & Reception went above and beyond following a flat tyre. Bar Staff greeted us with a warm welcome after returning much much later than expected from our gig. Late night reception accomodated is as we unwound from our late performance. The whole stay was made perfect due to the attitude of the staff.

Arrived early and got an early check-in which was much appreciated.

Castletroy Park Hotel offered excellent value. Check-in was quick and genuinely friendly. The room was spacious, clean, and the bathroom appeared recently refreshed. It included all essentials: small fridge, iron, hairdryer, and a Smart TV. The gym was under renovation, so no steam room or sauna, but this did not affect the stay, and we enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. Dining throughout was strong, with excellent bar food and service, though breakfast items were limited by 9:45am Monday. Highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at the Castletroy Park Hotel in July 2025, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the very beginning, Margaret and her team were incredibly helpful, attentive, and accommodating. They were always available to answer any questions or requests we had, and kept in regular contact throughout the planning process, ensuring everything was organised and stress free. They were also more than happy to provide local recommendations whenever needed. We were fortunate enough to have a scorcher of a summer’s day for our wedding. Our ceremony was held outdoors, and many of our guests commented that it felt like a wedding in Spain. The hotel grounds are stunning, and something that really stood out to us on the day was the fresh flowers planted in the gardens. The hotel itself has several locations on the grounds for photographs, and is also located quite close to some other great locations for pictures. On the day itself, Margaret, Jamie, and the entire team were exceptional. They looked after us and our guests so well and ensured everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The ballroom was comfortable, with plenty of room for dining and dancing later in the evening. The food was excellent throughout the day, from the starters right through to the late-night bites, and received many compliments from our guests. We are absolutely delighted to have celebrated our wedding at the Castletroy Park Hotel and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful venue with outstanding service

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service and Leadership – Highly Recommended! I recently attended a 3-day meeting at the Castletroy Hotel and was truly impressed by every aspect of my experience. Even though I didn’t stay overnight, the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail throughout my time there was outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. What really stood out to me, though, was the example of true leadership I witnessed. On multiple occasions, I saw Mr Carol, the General Manager, moving around different outlets, getting involved directly, and helping his team with various tasks. It was so inspiring to see a leader who doesn’t just manage from an office, but is present, hands-on, and actively supports his staff every step of the way. This kind of leadership is exactly what makes a hotel stand out – it creates such a positive atmosphere, and you can feel the commitment and dedication that runs through the whole team because of it. Thank you to Mr Carol and the entire team for making my 3-day meeting such a success!
