Castletroy Park Hotel and Suites in Limerick

Stayed at the Castletroy Hotel to do the Limerick marathon, also turned out very handy for the parkrun. Cannot fault the hotel in any way, the staff, the rooms, the food , the cleanliness all absolutely fantastic. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back, maybe not for a marathon next time!

Went to a talk here in Castletroy park hotel, very comfortable, staff very helpful.

2nd time to stay in the Castletroy Park hotel. Very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed & the Elemis produces are a very nice touch. Again I stayed on a B&B basis, breakfast is hearty. If I had any quibble, it would be the shower over the bath, it’s not safe for the most agile of people. But otherwise a lovely place to stay.

The service was great and staff were all lovely. The food was nice too. The room I was in needs a bit a refurb and a new curtains. The net curtains were an off yellow and the main curtains all stained. Two men did walk in the room to paint - thankfully I was fully dressed at the time and they were very apologetic. They had been told the room was empty and it was to be painted. I didn’t get my relaxing afternoon (day off touring) as they were doing maintenance on other rooms (drilling, hammering, etc).

Great location, lovely staff. Pity the leisure centre facilities are not 4 star. Jacuzzi not working much needed after a half marathon.

A welcoming and restorative stay with an ideal location, EV charging points, generous rooms, and a standout breakfast. Adding USB charging points in the rooms would bring the experience fully in line with modern guest expectations.

If you want to wile away an afternoon with the delights of the hotel’s Afternoon tea or have a spot lunch or just people watch over coffee, the Garden Room in Castletroy park hotel in Limerick is worth a try. We did a quick lunch but were salivating at the afternoon tea selection on the adjacent table. Shout out to Jennifer for your kindness and friendliness who was on duty during lunch while we were there. Update May 2026 Fabulous lunch again today. Super consistent. Tried the salmon main course for lunch with fresh veg cooked al dente. Very nice accompanying sauce with the fish. It benefited from not having the white wine in it on this occasion. Notable feature of the hotel in general is that the staff are all very well turned out. Thank you Izzy also for a great table, so I could work and dine comfortably in the restaurant.

Room and bathroom decor is extremely dated. Beds very comfortable. Very clean hotel.
