House Limerick in Limerick

Went on a date with my partner to House for the first time and it was an enjoyable experience. Our server Michaela was very lovely, always checking if we needed anything. The food itself was divine. I ordered the pasta and the portion was incredibly generous! Would definitely come back again!

I recently visited House Limerick and had a mixed experience. Starting with the positives—the Thai green curry was really good. It was full of flavour, well-balanced, and clearly well-prepared. The food itself was definitely the highlight of the visit and something I’d happily order again. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we weren’t particularly welcome, which made the whole experience quite uncomfortable. At one point, we asked for the dessert menu and it was never brought to us, which summed up the lack of attentiveness. There was also a sense that we were being looked down on, which isn’t what you expect when dining out. It’s a shame because the food shows real potential, but the service really let the experience down. With better hospitality, this place could be excellent—but based on this visit, it fell short overall.

House Limerick is an excellent place for either lunch or dinner. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it a lovely spot to spend time with friends or family. The beer selection is very good, the wines are excellent, and the food is always full of flavour and great quality. One of the best parts is sitting in their garden area overlooking the river — it’s a beautiful and laid-back setting that makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. The service is always friendly and attentive, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Overall, a fantastic place to dine or simply enjoy a drink in a lovely setting. Definitely one of the nicest spots in Limerick to relax and unwind.

We had a booking for a group of 5 girls for women’s day had the best service and Nicole who looked after us was fabulous thanks so much will be back would be better if we had abit more music in the back round but all and all good 👍

We went to House Limerick for my friends birthday and our waitress Michaela was genuinely amazing. She was so attentive and overall just an absolute joy to speak to, I couldnt recommend this restaurant enough based off her service alone!
