Cava Bodega in Galway

Wow, we loved it here!! We ordered a decent amount of the tapas and every single one was mouth watering. The pork belly, cucumber, roasted garlic aioli tapas was our FAVORITE, with the mussels coming a close second (both dishes pictured). Wine selection here was also unmatched. A must visit!

I had dinner with a group of 6 people so we were able to try a lot of items. The menu has many choices and the service was very quick. Everything we ate was delicious but the aubergine fritters, jamón croquettes, and lamb special were my favorites. We ordered 12 tapas (2 per person) and it was just the right amount of food for us. I would recommend a meal at Cava Bodega if you enjoy tapas!

Lovely small restaurant with quality tapas choices and an extensive Spanish wine collection. Make reservations, they stay busy.

Went a couple of weeks ago with the girls. Best tapas we've ever had! Great variety on the menu. Highly recommend!

If you're coming from Spain, wait until you're back. Everything is tailored to the flavors there. The chistorra tortilla is a potato omelet with bits of chistorra (or something similar) on top, a cheese and ham platter is average, the bravas are not too brava, and the garlic shrimp are well-cooked but with Tabasco. The mini burger is good. A variety of wines from all regions of Spain, and the best is the hot chocolate with churros. And the waitresses are 10/10.

So happy we decided to make last minute reservations here. We had 2 nights in Galway and I wish we would’ve eaten here both nights. Every single dish we ordered was delicious!

Our waitress, heather did an amazing job she was very friendly and nice and her knowledge of the menu was top notch. The food was amazing and very warm i definitely will be coming back
