Courtyard

09/04/2025: The food was delicious. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was good. The only fault I could find was that two adults ended up sitting with the kids at a separate table from the rest of the adults. This was due to the table layout and space restrictions so, there is little if anything that could have been done. Not really anyone's fault to be fair to the staff there. We will definitely be back.

06/04/2025: This is really an update. Have visited here many times and brilliant. I am just updating this to inform the public that nothing has changed still fantastic. A great atmosphere. Beautiful fire lighting as you entered very welcoming. Staff excellent. Great value. Lovely choices. Parking available. Wheelchair accessible.

The Old Deanery Cottages Ferns

12/05/2025: The Old Deanery is a really fantastic place to stay! From our first contact with Bryanna the amazing host we knew it was the place for our party. Bryanna is so helpful from answering all our queries prior to our trip, arranging and collecting and delivering our food, to the warm welcome on arrival and follow up on our departure she is fantastic - 10/10!!! The cottages are well kept, clean and perfect for groups / families. The grounds are beautiful with the large lawn at the back and the barn for indoor events / activities and catering. The prosecco reception in the wine cellar was a lovely touch and Jack the barman was very friendly and helpful. We really couldn't recommend the Old Deanery more!
