Chandpur in Donegal

Large and high-quality Indian restaurant, almost feudal ambience

One of the best Indian I had so far . And I had a lot as it’s one of my favorite cuisines. Staff was amazing as well . Will definitely come back .

I try to go wherever I'm in Donegal, great food and service, yesterday was very busy and I didn't mind waiting for a table as I was on my own.

Food was excellent but waited 40 minutes before getting starters because they were very busy with restaurant and take away service We did received an apology before leaving despite the wait we would go again

We wanted to take a break from Irish food so popped in here for dinner. We love Indian food and have it often, but I think Indian food in Ireland may just be different from what we’re used to in Portland. We ordered the tikka masala, tandoori chicken and some garlic naan. The masala was super sweet. I am more used to a umami masala and less coconut flavoring. The naan’s texture was more along the lines of a thin crusted pizza. And lastly, the tandoori chicken was actually delicious. Without the tandoori chicken and basmati rice, I don’t think would have been satisfying. The service was excellent!

Fantastic restaurant. Loved the food, the vibe and the wonderful caring staff. Definitely recommended.

We came in for a late dinner with two kids. We quickly ordered and got drinks and some chutney and crackers (sorry, don't know the name ... They were good though). And then we waited for 35 minutes. The place wasn't slammed busy, and we didn't order anything special, it just took a really long time. The starters were great - pakora, samosa, kebab - all really well seasoned, prepped well and delicious. Then we waited some more fore the mains: tandury chicken, Tikka masala and chicken nuggets and fries - 20 minutes or so, then we got two of the three. Our youngest had to wait a few more minutes for chicken nuggets and fries. The place looks cool, our kids enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff was nice and welcoming, re-setting the table after the starters. Looks very clean and the food is delicious. Portions are not huge. My only gripe was the very long time it took to get the food. Once it came - it was very good.

Muy buena india con una amplia selección de menús. La comida estaba bien preparada y presentada. El servicio era solo promedio y no muy atento.

Disfrutamos de nuestra comida. Mi marido decidió ir por un fall de cordero, ya que le encanta la comida excesivamente caliente. Estaba impresionantemente caliente y lo que más le gustaba era el sabor. Tuvimos un pequeño problema para obtener servicio como el restaurante se puso ocupado y grupos más grandes comenzaron a llegar, pero todos dijeron que tuvimos un tiempo absolutamente encantador, fuimos a casa lleno y disfrutamos de probar este lugar caliente local.
