Chandpur in Donegal

One of best Indian restaurant out of India, From appetizers to desserts, this restaurant exceeded all my expectations. (Ambiance)-elegant, sophisticated, luxurious, refined, intimate, chic, inviting, opulent, charming, or romantic. (Service)-attentive, impeccable, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, accommodating, top-notch, first-class. Never seen beautiful restaurant like Chandpur. Thanks for great service.

As soon as I noticed the name I have decided to have the dinner in Chandpur Restaurant during our stay in Donegal. It was an wonderful experience. Not only the food but the atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent! Very well behaved & professional staffs were there to welcome us and served the mouth watering delicious food. Thank you for all your efforts.

One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. The food is consistently excellent with amazing flavours that complement each other perfectly. Rana, Shez and the rest of the team put in every effort to make sure you have a fantastic meal. Top of my list for a high quality experience!

The service here was lovely, friendly and polite but not too much. The food was average. We thought the popadoms seemed alot like shop bought popadoms. Pickle tray was sparse with not enough dips to serve 4 people. We had a samosas and mixed kebab starters which did not taste fresh. We also had 2 children’s currys, a chicken tikka masala and a madras. All were distinctly ok. No wow factor at all. Having read the reviews prior to visiting we were quite disappointed and would not return.

We waited outside until they opened a few minutes late but it was worth the wait. The Buffett 1-4pm Sunday had three appetizers, naan, and four curries including lamb, chicken & vegetable. All was wonderful and worth every euro.
