Chans in Laytown-bettystown-mornington

12/02/2026: Stopped here after a long day working in Dublin while en route to Belfast the following day. Check in very smooth, although we had to find the staff who were working in the Bar/Restaurant which was very busy. Triple Room was spacious and comfortable and it was only for one night so we did not really get to see much of the hotel. Ate in the Bar/Restaurant and despite it being really busy the staff managed well and got our drinks and food out quite quickly. Menu is extensive and caters for all tastes and preferences with a good selection of meat, fish and vegetarian options. Prices very fair and service good overall. Better to stay in a smaller local hotel like the Village than the impersonal and cookie cutter atmosphere of the chains and larger shed like hotels.
