Chapter Food & Living Cavan in Cavan

From a French perspective, the organisation is pretty weird. We waited at the entrance to ask if there were a table for 2 available but a waitress (not really nice :/) finally told us that we had to queue to order and then, we would sit and wait to have our dishes... Still, the sandwiches were good and it was pretty fast to get our orders. The drink lady was so nice ! :)

The best place to have food in Cavan during the day hands down. Great variety of food and the service is fantastic.

Beautiful food as always from Chapter Cavan. Probably the best scones in the whole of Ulster and a great range too. Great value and staff are always busy but pleasant with it. The customer is always their priority.

Delightful place to visit. Staff and owner were amazing. Highly recommend.

Stopped for a coffee very busy place lovely inside

Not much to say about this establishment if I am being honest - it’s not a bad place to stop for a good coffee and a small snack but the prices are higher than some places within the town. The staff are friendly and attentive which adds to the experience. Would I go back? Probably not, wasn’t really for me so don’t take this review as gospel

Beautiful ideas ...BUT ... be aware that we had to send our burgers twice as they were pink inside. The second time, the chef would not cook this more. The reality is that it was a very busy time and he would not bother to cook them again. The service was excellent and we got refunded, and we got brownies, but it does not excuse the attitude of the chef. Would he do the same with raw chicken ? Furthermore : The FSAI reminds caterers that they should not serve, offer or advertise undercooked or 'pink' burgers; fully cooked means cooked to a temperature of 75°C in the core (i.e. thickest part) of the food, or to an equivalent temperature-time combination... This is NOT a joke, you could be seriously ill.

Well worth a visit. Had homemade soup and brown bread which was delicious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will visit again
