26/03/2024: Was down in Cavan at a party in this pub excellent food,friendly staff and great atmosphere there great spot to watch a game as well it’s a lovely spot definitely worth checking out

08/03/2024: My husband and I shared the goats cheese bruchetta to start. The goats cheese was fine but the tomatoes were overcooked and barely edible. My husband had the burger and chips, the burger was overcooked and the bun was burnt. I had the turkey and ham, it was prepackaged turkey and ham slices which i couldn't eat but i did bring them home for my dog who didn't complain. The mash was practically solid, the stuffing had far too much herbs, the vegetables and gravy was the usual pub version. My daughter had the children's burger and chips which she said was nice. The atmosphere was decent and the lady serving us was friendly, attentive and excellent at her job. Needless to say we won't be back as we enjoy good quality food.

02/04/2024: Fantastic CAFE with sweet and savoury pastries, eat in or take out. The soup 🍲 is absolutely 💯 HOMEMADE every spoonful is delicious and nutritious. The toasted 🥪sandwiches are fresh and very tasty. Cakes and pastries 🍰are made on the premises and are super fresh and very professionally prepared and presented. If you need anything for party food, look no further. Staff are so lovely and kind great chat, making the whole experience a return event.

05/04/2024: Good restaurant. The food was good enough, some foods were over-seasoned a little bit. However, the portion sizes are ridiculous. We payed over €8 for a tiny bowl of crème bruleé. A little bit of a rip off. Service was excellent. Lots of staff and they were very friendly and kind. My family sat in quite a crammed space, and the overall restaurant is pretty small and enclosed. A little bit annoying at times. The bill was an outrageous price for only a family of three. Over €200. Overall, nice restaurant but the prices of the food needs to be looked at, it’s a joke.

05/04/2024: We were visiting Cavan town and was recommended this place, we had a fantastic meal, for starter we shared the chicken satay which was amazing, we each had the sirloin steak it was beautifully cooked with a lovely chargrilled flavour, for dessert we shared the mixed berry cheesecake also heaven on a plate.The service was super very attentive staff with a welcome smile!

09/03/2024: The Ambience is quite amazing. Service was on Point. The Top Highlight is Price its quite pocket friendly. The Poppadoms were free eith great chutneys. We tried Lamb biryani Chick chilli Non Beg Platter Rice Goc( garlic ornion coriander naan) Plain naan. Taste was decent and good number of Variety. Lamb biryani was very nice..the quantity was less though but quality was excellent. The Spice level could have been more for a better experience.

28/02/2024: This was my first time in the Chilli Lounge, but I will definitely be back. They serve excellent Indian food. I love Indian food, and have eaten it in many restaurants in several countries. So I can say with confidence that the Chilli Lounge serves absolutely excellent Indian food. My meal was not only brillianty presented, but it was also simply delicious. The Chilli Lounge have the correct balance of flavour from the spices, and other ingredients to make this a very tasty meal, as real Indian food should be. Not overloaded with firey curry to burn your taste buds to death. The service was exemplary, with several extras provided. The freshly made garlic nan bread was wonderful. I really enjoyed my meal. The food, presentation and service were all brilliant. The only fault I could find in the whole evening was that I was under charged on the drinks that we consumed. I only noticed this on a later look at the reciept. I intend to correct this mistake when I am next in Cavan town.

23/03/2024: We were so looking forward to dining here as a real treat for ourselves. We were greeted by lovely staff as we arrived and seated straight away. The decor and ambience was really cosy. Our food was where the disappointment started. I ordered the T bone steak from the specials board along with vegetable soup. My wife ordered a starter which she enjoyed as I did with the soup. When the mains arrived my wife's duck was overcooked after being specifically told that the chef cooks the duck pink but she ate it and enjoyed it. My steak immediately struck me as if it was defrosted with a microwave and then cooked. After tasting it I had to send it back. I was offered another t bone, sirloin or fillet steak. I opted for the fillet. It was cooked to my liking but with no seasoning, but it was a nice piece of meat. We then got dessert (after a 30 minute wait). The waitress offered us a drink on the house due to being a mistake in the kitchen which we accepted. The desserts were ok at best. For what we paid it was not value for money from the food end. We will not be back.

21/03/2024: Beautiful restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed first visit. Could not believe the reasonable cost for such delicious, top quality food. Looking forward to next visit.
