Shades Grill in Cavan

The staff was content and kept busy. They where continously chekcig we had water and that the food was being enjoyed. We have garlic mushroom, tacos, fish and chips, chicken and Chorizo pasta. The portion sizes where great and each course was done extremely well. Will be back again

We were here as a family and had a fantastic meal and when paying for the meal he asked if there was any special occasions which we replied with there was a couple of birthdays as well as my father recovery from an illness in which he replied with giving a substantial amount off to put towards a charity it was incredibly generous and it’s great to see such kindness and generosity still in this world would highly recommend to everyone.

Friendly and attentive staff, beautiful setting and refined cuisine... Average bill over €30...

Great service, no delays and never rushed

recently visited Shades Restaurant and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was top-notch, and the food was genuinely five-star quality. ​For my meal, I had the open steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, and my wife had the slow cooked beef cheek—both dishes were absolute perfection. ​The atmosphere is wonderfully warm and cozy, making it the ideal spot to bring family and friends together for a great meal. Highly recommend, and I will definitely be back!

Beautiful spot, small outside dining area as well, friendly staff and beautiful decor. The food was great, 2 sides are even more than enough to get you filled, chill atmosphere and have to mention once again the tasteful decor. Clean and attentive staff, checking on your table at good intervals.

We dined out at Shades Bar & Grill Sunday past. The warm hospitality provided from booking our reservation, being greeted/seated and being served our fabulous food and drinks made our overall experience special. There is a reason why this place has fantastic 5 star reviews and I wanted to add mine. Shades will exceed your expectations and most definitely is worth a visit. The services was lacking. When asked clearly for a slipt bill between our 2 famillies we ended up with a complet table bill. This was not an assign server like we are use to, so the other server doesn't probably know the split bill information... there was a lot of time between visit at the table. We asked for a new jug a water, it never came. I had to get up and find someone and ask again... however the decor is really beautiful but it is loud in there. The food was really good. Great quality. Great restaurant but laking in services during busy hours.
