Shades Grill in Cavan

The services was lacking. When asked clearly for a slipt bill between our 2 famillies we ended up with a complet table bill. This was not an assign server like we are use to, so the other server doesn't probably know the split bill information... there was a lot of time between visit at the table. We asked for a new jug a water, it never came. I had to get up and find someone and ask again... however the decor is really beautiful but it is loud in there. The food was really good. Great quality. Great restaurant but laking in services during busy hours.

This must be the best restaurant in Cavan town? Everything on the menu taste absolutely delicious, great selection for kids too and at reasonable prices. Great bar with good selection of cocktails 🍸🍹🥃 Compliments to the interior designer, beautifully decorated inside. Nice selection of outdoor seating too which is nice during the hot weather, although it's limited. Would highly recommend the beef cheeks or Wagyu burger 🍔🤤👌🏻

Had a lovely meal at Shades in Cavan. I had the large beef taco with salad, and my husband had the slow-cooked beef with spicy chips both were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, the service was excellent, and the restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere. I wasn’t a fan of the Mila cocktail, but that didn’t take away from an otherwise fantastic experience. If I’m back in Cavan, I’ll definitely be returning to Shades.

For a truly memorable meal experience , visiting here when in Cavan is a must . The restaurant decor is out of this world , and the booths are so private. The restaurant was full the Saturday night we were there , but we could still chat comfortably around our table

Just after having a wonderful evening in Shades .The food was delicious and all the staff were very polite, helpful and attentive . Will highly recommend to everyone Ethel Donald and Adrian Woodhouse .

Food was amazing, cocktails are constantly being mixed staff are extremely friendly atmosphere is great but can get loud but the food will more than make up for any of it - amazing!

I was there for the first time this evening, although a Cavan native I have moved away and never had the chance and randomly decided to go today. And wow, I was so pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is finished beautifully, the staff were very nice and attentive throughout. Each course I had was absolutely delicious. Prawn starter, beef cheek main and the Blondie (special) dessert were all absolutely delicious. I also tried some of the beef taco starter and it was also scrumptious. Disarrano sour while I was waiting for the table was also yummy. Way exceeded my expectations and highly recommend. It was also a great atmosphere and very busy even at 6pm when we arrived, it was a little bit loud although still able to converse.

Food was amazing, couldn’t fault one thing, cocktail was delicious, staff are so friendly, beautiful place, nicest food I’ve had !!!
