People's in Cavan

Peoples in Cavan was an amazing experience from start to finish. The dishes are beautifully presented, full of flavor, and the menu has plenty of great options at very reasonable prices. The pork belly starter was absolutely sensational, and the portions are very generous too. The cocktails are mouthwatering, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant is stunning, modern while still feeling elegant and classic. Everything we tried was delicious, and you can really tell there’s a lot of care put into both the food and the overall experience.

Even though it was Tuesday night, there was a lovely warmth about this restaurant. The food and service was excellent made all the more enjoyable by the lovely Christina. Her personality was infectious and she made our visit there all the more special. What a hoot and what an asset Christina is to the business. Keep up the great work!! Hopefully you'll get a raise now!!😜 Next time in Cavan we will definitely call in.

We were a group of 4 on a quiet Tuesday night. We were staying locally in a hotel but wanted to try somewhere else. We were not disappointed! From the moment we met Christina we knew we had made the right decision. Her warm welcoming per sonality and helpfullnes over food choices added greatly to the enjoyment of delicious food ... Lovely cocktails and deserts and fine red wine. A lovely experience on a wet Tuesday night in Cavan Town.

I recently checked out this restaurant and wow—the inside totally surprised me! From the outside, it doesn’t give much away, but the interior is gorgeous, with great lighting and a really cozy vibe. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, showing us to our table right away. We weren’t in a rush and the place wasn’t too busy, which made the whole experience really relaxing. I decided to step out of my usual choices and try something new for starters—and I’m glad I did! The dish came out fast (no melted drinks here 😅), looked amazing, and tasted even better. The flavors balanced perfectly, and the portion was just right for a starter. Definitely ordering that again. For my main, I went with another new dish. It arrived quickly and looked fantastic. Portions were a bit small, and the meat could have used a touch more seasoning, but overall, still tasty. The fries were chunky—okay, but not mind-blowing. The highlight? The mocktail. So good! Refreshing, flavorful, and I’d happily have it again. Service throughout was attentive—the waitress checked in regularly and made sure everything was perfect. All in all, a great vibe, solid food, and top-notch drinks. Would definitely recommend for a casual meal or trying something new

Gorgeous food and amazing cocktails! So much varity on the menu. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere in the Percy French bar where you can eat from the people's restaurant menu. Highly recommend!

Had the double steak mince burger. Honestly one of the best burgers I have ever had.

Food was fantastic No room in resteraunt so they put us in the bar for food. Im glad they did. Decor was lovely, vibrant atmosphere and great staff. Pork belly bites, satay chicken, duck were all great. Fish tacos lacked a bit of flavour but fish was good quality just needed sauce or seasoning. Tldr - definitely worth a go

Absolutely loved it. Food was top notch. Staff couldn't have been any nicer. Seating was great.
