Hard Boiled Egg Cafe in Cavan

Hate to be this person. Food was really nice but asked the staff 3 times if the soap in the women's bathroom could be replenished and it still wasn't. Seemed like it was just a inconvenience every time I mentioned but in all fairness most people want to wash their hands before and after a meal.

Lovely spot for quality food and owner and staff extremely accommodating and friendly 😀

Food is great but prices are shocking

Amazing service, nice food, just missed a bit of side salad maybe more healthy options would be amazing. Definitely worth eating there.

After living in Ireland for years, I always heard the hype of the hard boiled egg. I got a cheese omelette both times and the omelette is nice, can't argue with that. It was fresh and nice - however, the price of the food does not match the size of the portion or the taste on my opinion. I also ordered another side of chips (fries - I was hungry, don't judge!) and they never actually showed up to the table. When paying, it was still included on the bill. Asked to remove the item which was done. It is a little overpriced thank you the hype and lack of choice in the area. I have had nicer food from a greasy spoon for half the price. But I would happily go back though, just wouldn't make a habit of it 😌

We visited here yesterday afternoon, the staff were very friendly and the service was excellent. We walked in the door and we were spoken to straight away, which I think is a great quality.. Enjoyed our meal here. Continued success to the staff of the Hard Boiled Egg Café. Will visit again.

Very friendly, (smiley and singing along 😀) and welcoming staff. Nice decor While the food is really nice it can be a bit on the pricey side. Would still definitely come back.

I've been before so unfortunately it was a bit of a let down ordered vegan plant based burgers and a bacon cheese burger No vegan burgers and they forgot bacon cheese burger omelets arrived cold music far too loud 😫 not the best this time round Tommy
