A lovely restaurant with a nice outdoor courtyard. I had the soup and my daughter had a tasty chicken salad with goats cheese etc. Plus you can park in Dunnes stores nearby.

The food is amazing, great value, the staff are so friendly and helpfull. I can't say enough good things about the place. A must go to place best food and value in cavan and one of my favourite places to eat in the country

Enjoyed the food here so much. I had smashed avocado on sourdough with bacon, poached eggs, feta and basil with grilled vine tomatoes. Actually felt like great value for the food received. Food was so fresh and portions very generous. Friendly staff, nice seating inside and outside. Plenty of sweet treats to choose from. Will be back for sure.

Great place in Cavan centre with a nice heated area in the back. Top service and very nice, friendly staff. Food was excellent!!! Caesar salad and pancakes were super delicious.

Called in for lunch en route to Farnham Estate at 1:30 pm. Menu covers all bases for an establishment of this size. Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Food was excellent with the hottest latte I've had in a tall glass. Warmest and tastiest pancakes with added bacon and maple syrup (off menu) Even an order of toasted sourdough was huge and hot. Pot of tea would've done 2 people even though ordered for 1 ! The price was really reasonable compared to many other cafe's I've visited but the quality and portions were over and above. Our first visit, not our last.

Cavan Crystal Hotel

12/06/2026: Have never stayed in a room in the Crystal, but have attended baby sensory classes, popped in for a drink and even got married there as part of the Cavan registry office services. No matter what I've been in for, the staff are always wonderful, courteous and helpful! Today in particular our car died following a sensory class in the hotel and the lovely chap on reception (sorry I didn't get your name) called Freddy from Maintenance to see if he could help. We got the car going quickly and super appreciate how helpful and sympathetic everyone was as we had a small baby in the car too. This only solidifies in my mind how great the crystal is and how often I'll be recommending them to friends and family ❤️

Chapter Food & Living Cavan

30/07/2026: Great food good range of Gluten free products! The staff are really friendly and the service is very quick. They even have a range of Gluten free sweet products which is rare!! There is a lovely shop attached beware if you have a shopping addiction to gift ware!!!
25/07/2026: Was here for lunch today with my sister who uses a rollater to get about. As soon as we joined the queue a very pleasant gentleman brought us to a table & came back very promptly to take our order which was very much appreciated as my sister is unable to stand for long periods. Outstanding customer service. The food was top class as usual. Thank you.
