The right place for a traditional breakfast

I've been going to Ardara for 20 years and love this cafe. Great cafe food. Staff are lovely. Plenty of food for the money. Nothing is a problem and are very helpful. Love the breakfast, plenty of tea and toast. 👌😊

First customers in on a Thursday morning. No idea what to expect, and the owner welcomed us warmly. We ordered the Charlie's breakfast that had great sausage, ham and "white pudding" along with beans and an egg. Unusual breakfast for an American but delicious. Good coffee, too. The lady chef came out to ask us how everything tasted and we both expressed our pleasure. Family friendly atmosphere. All the customers and staff knew each other. Special place.

Have been touring Ireland for 3 weeks and have been waiting to find a great cafe and one that's open. We found one at Charlie's, service was great with good food with very good portions and price . The fish was exceptionally good, alot of the other customers were also having the fish, local knowledge, thanks 😊

Called in on passing. Ordered a fish supper, fish was fantastic, chips were great, and customer service exceptional definitely worth a visit for anyone in that direction. If Carlsberg made fish suppers, this was probably the best fish supper in the world!

Lovely and friendly staff. Very helpful. You will never leave this place hungry. Their jacket potatoes are a must. The fish is always so fresh. You will not go wrong ordering the fish (pan-fried, steamed, or battered). The home made burgers are delicious. Steak is good, too. Have never got anything that was disappointing.

Great old style greasy spoon. Very friendly staff with good quality and value-for-money food.
