Charlie's West End Cafe in Ardara

Delicious food, friendly service

What a great cafe! We called in by chance and both ordered the small fish and chips. Well. if that is small, I am on a different planet! There were two pieces of fish and a mountain of chips. My husband was glad he'd ordered the small one, too, as he ended up with one of my pieces of fish. It was such good value for the price, and the staff were lovely. Service was efficient, and we had two check backs to make sure everything was OK. There were lots of locals in there, which is always a good sign, and if I lived locally I'd eat there several times a week!

Food and staff great, reasonable price.

Excellent food and a relaxed atmosphere and very good for gluten free chips were delicious and cooked in a separate fryer to avoid contact with any other gluten ingredients. Gluten free wrap available and the filling was hearty! Would throughly recommend.

Best fish I’ve ever had and all the specials sounded nice that there were too many to choose from, chicken baguette was 10/10 also and excellent chips. Staff all very friendly.
