Charlie's in Cork

There was a singer on a Tuesday which was great because the concert we had come to cork to see had been canceled. The bar was well decorated creating a welcoming feel. ( Shame about the upstairs loos! ). There may have been something going on I wasn't aware of but the service wasn't the best on this occasion. Very serious staff, zero chat. The little crowd that had formed made the night.

Good beer, great atmosphere, friendly staff, and good live music. What more could you ask for?

The best toasties ever!! Really cheap food and a cracking atmosphere away from the madness of oliver phunkett st but only a couple ov minutes walk

Excellent pub, small single floor interior with two outside seating areas; one small one right outside the front door and a second area across the seat on the rivers edge where there are many seats or you can stand by the railing!

Charlie’s Bar is one of those proper Cork pubs that never disappoints. The atmosphere is always great, with a real friendly crowd and plenty of character. The staff are sound, always welcoming and happy to have a chat while still keeping everything running smoothly. The pints are spot on and the craic does be mighty, whether you’re calling in for one drink or staying for the evening. A brilliant spot in the city with a genuine local feel that keeps people coming back.

Typical Irish bar, offers various local beers, I tried the "11" good!!

No longer an early morning bar like it was back in the day but still a decent spot to start in and there's an outdoor seating area across the road belonging to the bar

Charlie's is a lovely bar with fantastic lovely staff Great music like Hank Wedel & Stuart Wilde also music for everyone No food but have snacks behind the counter There is plenty of outdoor seating an also in the heart of Cork City
