The setting is beautiful, feels so warm. I got the duck for main which was delicious but the absolute star of the show was the crème brûlée which was just outstanding, felt like I was transported to Paris. Very friendly atmosphere too.

My husband and I walked in for dinner around 5:30 after a recommendation from our guide earlier in the day. It was amazing! It is an intimate French restaurant just down the lane from Staghead Pub on Dame Lane. It feels very old with a few contemporary touches. The food was incredible and the wait staff kind and efficient. You will not be disappointed. They have a 2 course or 3 course menu. We each chose the 2 course. I got a starter and main. My husband got a main and dessert which worked out perfectly to share. The wine selection was great. I had a kir royal as an apertif.

08/06/2026: One of the best restaurants in Dublin, with ease. Try to come here once every month or two. Never miss a beat and cracking value at lunch. Great wine list and much better valuable than many nearby restaurants. Courgette flower whenever it’s on is a must.

16/05/2026: Got a beautiful private booth with a picture of a cow on the wall, could use some context on why that image supplements an ambience this elegant 🤣🤣 I took my girlfriend for dinner on her birthday and the staff, the restaurant - made the evening so special. We let the chef decide what we should be served and they did not disappoint. Every meal was coherent with the wine served - every dish had a spectrum of flavours that were all given the right amount of space to breathe, I figured this place has/had a Michelin star - and they did at one point! Very talented, I was so full but made sure none of the dishes went back empty. I’m not that fond of alcohol or wine, it’s more a social deal for me - however, a well orchestrated experience had me locked in to the rich history behind every glass. Thank-you to the staff and the chef for making her night so memorable, and for giving us an occasion to remember forever. Highly recommend for special occasions!
