Love this place. Have ordered from all around the area and this is by far my favourite. Spice bag is nice and spicy instead of being too sweet. Aromatic duck is the best I’ve had, with no fat!!! And the curry sauce is to die for..

Maple Tree

19/08/2025: Michaela greeted us and served us, lovely woman straight talker warm heart. Food was outstanding. We went just after covid and didnt think much, but returned last month and were blown away. 5 adults, 4 kids, 0 complaints. Thanks guys will be back soon!
27/07/2025: Outstanding Sunday lunch. Lovely place, attentive & proffessional staff. Food was really top class. Cauliflower bites, monkfish scampi 👌👌 Will be back.

Anvil Saggart

07/08/2025: Lovely revamp on the restaurant. Great lunch menu for about a tenner. Food was delicious, chips are apparently triple cooked and really tasty. A good addition to the area!!
06/08/2025: The restaurant interior is absolutely fabulous, it has been revamped recently and is decorated beautifully. I have been a few times now for the new breakfast menu, dinner and cocktails and every time was amazing! My kids ordered a dessert platter and we all enjoyed some of it! The restaurant has recently been under new management and the staff were very friendly and attentive and the service was very efficient too! I would 100% recommend and am glad to have the Anvil as my new local 🤩
