Very good food and great service.

My sons and I stopped at the Cow Pub and Restaurant on our last night in Dublin, Sep 4, 2025. It was close to the hotel we were staying at so very convenient. Had we known how fantastic it was, we would have gone there more! My sons, both in their 20s, eat a lot! They could not finish their meals. The portion size was huge, the quality of the food was amazing, and the service was wonderful! Overall fantastic experience! I would highly recommend this spot for a night out, or as a regular spot to visit.

Fantastic steak and outstandingly pleasant service

I found the Cow online and laughed at the name. Originally from Iowa, I thought it was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday. I can honestly say, the experience far outpaced my expectations. The service was unparalleled. Our server, David, was spectacular and made the evening feel special and unique. Thank you so much for the amazing way to celebrate!

The service was impeccable. Our server was both attentive and genuinely friendly. Now, the food—absolutely outstanding. Each dish was crafted with care, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Highly recommended—you’ll leave with a happy heart and a full stomach.

Fish and chips. Get it at all costs. The fish is so tender and delicious, not oily like most. The mushy peas are fantastic with just a hint of mint. The tartar sauce was divine and really brought out the flavor of the fish. The beef pie is also a must-have. Just the right amount of potatoes with the beef, and a nice rich sauce. It could have used a touch more salt and some of the beef chunks were a bit too large for a comfortable bite, but those are really minor issues. The staff are all pleasant, attentive, and allow you to have a relaxed experience. Be sure to sit outside if possible. The covered patio makes for a quiet and cozy setting.

The food was excellent, and the value was great. We had to wait a bit, and the service was a little slow, but very friendly. There's a special children's menu.

Wat een verrassing!. Een restaurant die boven de massa uitsteekt met verassende gerechten en combinaties die prachtig worden gepresenteerd en uitgeserveerd. Nemen de tijd tussen de verschillende gangen en laten je genieten van de gerechten. Absolute aanrader!

Tuvimos un servicio excepcional. Nuestro camarero, David, era fantástico. La comida era muy deliciosa. Nos gustó tanto que volvimos al día siguiente para almorzar. Estábamos saliendo de Dublín ese día y queríamos comer allí una vez más.
