Clancy's in Athy

We had a casual day 2 of our wedding in Clancys & it was absolutely perfect. The staff could not have been nicer & the service could not have been any better. John the manager is an absolute gent.

Excellent venue and professional staff. Thank you for a great night Emma, John and David at my daughter’s 21st birthday in the Hatch. Excellent venue. Such good fun. Music by John Luttrell top notch.

Barman was excellent. Was interested in talking to us and telling us a few things about the bar and where to eat.

We had our wedding day 2 in Clancys. John was always a pleasure to deal with. Everything on the night was absolutely perfect and we had everything possible. Music with Gary O Brien, in house dj and a session in the music room which people are still talking about. Emma and John went above and beyond to make sure it was enjoyable for everyone. Food was perfect and we even got to serve some of our wedding cake which was fantastic. Would definitely recommend clancys for any event or party. And will definitely be booking again. Fantastic pub in Athy, a real gem. Traditional pub at first look but some great spots for groups of varying sizes to go into. Friendly staff and good stout

My favourite pub in Kildare! Spacious, clean, and so warm and welcoming. I enjoyed pints of Heineken watching a football match on a big TV in the front bar and my Mrs had draft Corona, she was delighted, so fresh and cold. Atmosphere was fabulous! Staff were chatty, service was quick and really enjoyed the trad session in the middle room later in evening. Never seen anything like it, will be back

By far one of the very best pubs we visited during our trip to Kildare. The ambiance is reminiscent of old world charm with its old style front bar. The choice of cocktails was impressive. The service was warm, friendly and efficient. The cocktails for me were defiantly the high point.. I tried more than one. Passionfruit martini, Gin Bramble and a rockstar. All fresh and so good. My partner had Guinness and also draft Guinness zero which isn’t available every where and he was very impressed with the quality. All in all a 10 out of 10!
