Clarkes is a lovely traditional bar in Drogheda. A great pint of guinness and a friendly atmosphere. An old-school type of place with no tv or loud music to interrupt conversation. If you are doing the Drogheda Camino, you can also get a stamp here. A perfect way to finish the Camino.

So good that pubs like Clarkes still exist, in original form. This is a genuine old bar, not a new bar decorated to look like an old place.

Best pint of Guinness in all of Drogheda (probably) and a lovely old relaxed atmosphere. It's always a pleasure coming here.

02/04/2025: I travel around with my job and would grab a coffee from different areas, in the mornings and by far this has to be one of the best latte coffee! Most coffee doesn’t taste as good half way through but this coffee keeps its delicious taste! colombian coffee beans the best! Highly recommend!
27/03/2025: Always good except one time the staff were super stressed I think something was not working in the kitchen but that was a once off, the toilets well just say they resemble a poky Italian place in that regard

25/03/2025: Lovely but a care in the community head started shouting abuse at me and threatened me not to return there ?
17/02/2025: Absolutely fabulous food and amazing service. Staff are so professional. We dined here on Sunday 16th and had lasagne(best lasagne I've ever tasted) Complments to the chef. Definately would 💯 recommend ❤️
