Cliffs View Cafe in Liscannor

Breathtaking view, fortunately very sunny day, to make the most of the view to the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. Unfortunately, one of the hiking trails was closed for work but we were able to take advantage of the other paths to have several viewpoints.

Spectacular landscape on the Irish coast with a very interesting interpretation center with a cafeteria and souvenir shop. Next to the center there are cheaper souvenir stalls.

Large parking lot, ticket to be bought at the entrance, thank God the weather got better, the view was incredibly beautiful, a lot of wind on the way uphill, the hiking trail was closed, experience with an interesting exhibition + food options and a gift shop

Great value for money, gorgeous day with great views, got there early (9.30am) just before the crowds started to come

The hiking trails were closed even though we came specifically for that. This could have been mentioned at the entrance. Still, the cliffs were well worth the visit and entrance fee. The experience, especially the 4D show, was quite nice.

We were visiting the Cliffs of Moher and there isn't many places to eat except at the visitor's center. Having no choice we ate at the Cliff View Cafe which is upstairs. We were presently surprised at the choice and quality of the food they offered. One side was for cold dishes, sandwich, baked goods and lots of desserts. The other side had hot food and since the day was a bit cool we decided to have some of their Irish stew and it was very good. We hadn't had much luck with food served at similar locations or attractions. The seating was what you would expect at a very busy tourist destination cafeteria.
