The place is beautiful but the trek is closed and that's a very bad thing. They should advertise this and let people know. Also, tickets are kind of expensive but if you leave your car in one of the close by towns and hop on the free busses everything is free, the ride and the entrance...

Absolutely stunning!!! Could spend all day here! Recommend not waiting until last minute to use the facilities, as the cue (on both floors) can be quite long!

What an incredible experience. Cliffs are beautiful and well worth a visit. If you have limited mobility they run an electric cart from the visitor centre up to the tower and back. Unfortunately the extended paths are closed but you can still get a good feel for the area. I highly recommend booking in advance as this saves you half of the price charged at entry! We opted for the early evening slot and it was relatively quiet so I would recommend going later in the day to avoid the crowds. Staff are very friendly and helpful and visitor centre worth a visit.

The trail above the cliffs is currently closed, but it's still worth seeing. The observation tower and the trail in the other direction are well-developed. The exhibition is very interesting. The prices in the cafe aren't exactly cheap, but the selection is plentiful.

Ordered fish and chips and 2 cokes. It came to in and around 45 euro. We had to wait on this being cooked , we expected as there was a wait it would be home cooked food. Instead of homemade we were presented with what i assumed was birds eye processed fish, and processed French fries. I would recommend going for a beverage and bring your own food otherwise you're paying through the nose for poor quality.

26/05/2025: We were recently in Vaughans for a family dinner during a family break in Clare - 8 people over 3 generations - it’s not our 1st time here ! We came back for more having had a super meal here a couple of years ago - the menu is predominantly fish .. but steak on the menu too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 courses - the scallops were delicious and the monkfish, halibut & steak deserve a special mention too. All delicious - Spoonies Icecream on the desert menu with yuzu caramel was a firm favourite- service was very efficient but not the friendliest waiter - a smile here or there would not have went a stray ! But that is our only criticism. We thoroughly enjoyed & highly recommend this spot for dinner.

10/06/2025: Nine of us arrived on 10/06 after the kitchen closed and they kindly fed us anyway. Courteous service, generous portions, very good and tasty food. Convenient price... I would go back tomorrow. Thanks
03/05/2025: Stopped in for a late lunch on the way to the Cliffs. Had the special - roast beef with mashed potatoes and veggies. Gravy was delicious and the creamy horseradish was amazing! Service was quick and friendly. Thank you for the quick scrumptious meal chased by a tasty pint of Guinness! Grabbed a few orders of chips for the road.
