Well-deserved 3x5 stars. I'd give it more, but I can't. The service, the atmosphere, everything in general is top-notch. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely visit.
Delicious fish and chips, service was on the gruff side. No bookings for lunch walk in, advise booking early as this is mega busy! Steaks look amazing and prices have dropped!
A solid four stars. It could be higher, but we often prefer smaller portions and higher quality. However, the food is quite decent and sufficient. We usually order one dish between the two of us. This allows us to try a wider variety of dishes.
It's quite possible to have a decent meal.
Sometimes the place gets too crowded for a small one. A full bus arrived, and everyone burst into the place cheerfully and boisterously. The space became cramped.
There's a good restaurant nearby. It's more upscale, has more seating, and the cuisine is top-notch, but it's definitely more expensive. A portion of fish or meat can cost up to 50 euros. The choice is yours. Here are some photos from the second restaurant for comparison.
11/06/2026: Great spot. Go hungry and fill your boots.
Oysters in a soy dressing with a Guinness
Their signature lobster and prawn vol au vent
Black sole off the bone with great chips.
Lemon and lime baked Alaska.
Decent wines by the glass.
Service friendly and unfussy.
Look forward to going again.
