It's not far from where we live. And we go there some sundays for dinner. There is always a great menu to choose from and the food is excellent and great value. They also have a great kids menu. It's one of the reasons we go there. Staff are always helpful, and friendly. The Talbot also has a warm relaxing atmosphere.

Was only there for one night and I had no complaints to make, the rooms have everything you need, the beds where freshly made and very comfortable, so would I recommend this hotel ? Most definitely it's a lovely quiet place to stay I just hadn't the time to use all the amenities but go see for yourself you'll not be disappointed 10/10

Go swimming here it's lovely. Staff keep constant check on cleanliness in pool and changing rooms. Always welcoming and chat freely when i come in and leaving,when their not busy.

We spent a weekend at the hotel and the rooms were very clean and very warm and a good choice of breakfast the next morning would highly recommend.

Came here for dinner with my husband saturday evening. Food was lovely the portions are rather big, the decor is fabulous since it's been renovated. I was reluctant to ask as it was very busy for cocktails not on the menu however the young woman behind the bar was polite and didn't hesitate to accommodate. What she made me was divine. I think her name is cat, I'll definitely be back soon!!!

13/01/2024: J'ai été surpris que le vin soit ouvert quelque part et pas devant nous. le dessert n'est que de la glace. bruyant dans le hall. le cuisinier a trop salé les légumes et le poisson. le poisson flétan est pour moi le poisson le plus magnifique. Il a fallu attendre longtemps pour les bals apéritifs. Ils ont déjà apporté le goûter. J'espère. Je reviendrai plus tard, quand le travail du gérant sera visible. Il n'y a pas de problèmes avec l'équipe de serveurs, mais les gérants doivent travailler sur l'organisation, car les prix sont au niveau d'un grand restaurant. Je suis désolé que ce soit arrivé le jour de mon anniversaire. mais j'espère que ce n'est que le début du travail. J'ai aimé le service, l'équipe est bonne 👍.
23/12/2023: Really nice meal in this Clonmel pub. The plaice and chips were excellent and with a side of mash with carrots and broccoli. My companion had the steak sandwich ani it was equally good.
