Clybaun hotel in Galway

Spacious and well-equipped room, the baby bed that we requested was well installed. The staff was very friendly, especially with the children. We recommend.

Lovely hotel - very family friendly. Nice staff and good food.

Clean and huge room. The beds are comfortable and sound proofing is one of the best we had around Ireland during our short trip.

Hotel did what it needed to do. The restaurant and reception area are gorgeous, spa and outdoor jacuzzi is lovely. Service was really good and reception always friendly and welcoming. We stayed in room 105, it was average. Room was a bit outdated and would have liked to have had a fridge, or a smart tv to log into Netflix. All was clean except for silverfish bugs in the bathroom. Saw at least 2 of these bugs on the ground each time I was in the bathroom. I would’ve rated higher if it wasn’t for the bugs in the bathroom.

Sunday carvery is pretty good. Plenty of options and staff are very helpful. Lots of seating so even when busy it is still easy to find a table. Outdoor area is beautiful, recently landscaped. Swing chairs were a big hit with the kids.

A hotel located just outside Galway city with clear signs of wear and tear in the rooms. The room was far too warm and ventilation didn't help. Opening more firmly was limited to about 10 cm with the safety. Unfortunately no air conditioning. The breakfast was disappointing, there were no sausages and cheese on two days, 3 slices of cheese were only given upon request. The pancake machine was full of burnt dough residues, which was then laboriously removed by a service person... Overall, the food on offer was rather “economical” and the waitresses were not very committed. Not 4 stars for me, despite the swimming pool/sports area. The room doors only close with a loud bang, the bolts require a lot of force from the outside, very annoying noise for all neighboring rooms.

Stayed at the Clybaun Hotel for two nights. Loved the hotel. Really nice rooms. The staff were very friendly and food was great. Outdoor spa and pool were amazing. Great outdoor space. Would highly recommend.

Stuffiestroom I've ever stayed in. Overpriced.

Very good hotel a little far from the center. €25 a taxi. The buses do not accept cards and you have to carry exact change.
