Clybaun hotel in Galway

A perfect place for both business and private stays

I have to say this is a wonderful hotel. I only live down the road, but had to stay during a blackout and the rooms were lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too, plenty of choice. Recently I've attended a function and the food was wonderful. Also I've been in the meeting rooms and they are bright and airy. All in all a super hotel, great food, staff and decor. Thumbs up from me!

Our stay was okay, but not great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the swimming pool was nice, with a separate changing room and travel cot, which was a great touch for families. However, there were several issues. The elevator had a strong chemical smell, our room had maintenance problems (loose door handle, peeling wallpaper, and a non-working TV remote), and it was uncomfortably hot with no thermostat. Room service stopped at 8:30 PM, which felt quite early, and breakfast was expensive for what it was. The pool is also public, so there were kids’ swimming lessons during our visit. Prior to our stay, I had inquired about wedding brochures and a meeting to discuss hosting our wedding here, but no one followed up. When I asked again at reception, I was told to email the events team. After staying, I’ve decided not to consider this venue, and I was disappointed by the lack of effort. Overall, the hotel was just okay, but I wouldn’t stay again.

Lovely time staff very friendly

From booking to my stay was brilliant. This hotel is one of the most spotless hotels I've have seen in years from someone with a background and experience in hospitality l would be critical of standards but from your entrance to your restaurant and bedroom it was of 4⭐ standards. l could not fault your room at all. One of the most comfortable nights sleep l have had in a while, shower and toiletries was brilliant also. Breakfast was lovely, totally catered for me as gluten free and offered a great selection for me and put me at ease, your staff from reception to restaurant were always brilliant and easy to approach and so helpful. I will stay again. l would like to Thank you all for such a 4⭐ experience. Please take pride in your hotel and staff, keep up the amazing job you are doing, this is what is expected from 4⭐ and it is what I received 10/10

We want to sincerely Thank the wonderful staff for all the kindness to myself and my daughter during the storm outage. We like many more people were without electricity, heating and phone connections during the storm. We visited the hotel to charge up our devices, and warm up and just get out of the house during the challenging few days. The staff went above and beyond on a very busy day as the hotel was so busy with people in need like us. So Thank you all so much for all the kindness shown to us we really appreciate it. 🙏👏💞

Fabuloso hotel. Las habitaciones estaban impecables y las camas muy cómodas. Baño muy limpio y elegante. El personal es encantador y muy servicial. La comida era abundante y muy sabroso en el desayuno y la cena en el bar era encantador también. La única queja que tenemos es que la piscina estaba muy muy fría
